We'll probably see some Netjets Europe 7Xs when those arrive on the line in a few years flying from the other side of the pond. Curious that NJE decided to buy these in addition to GIVSPs and GVs (I know they only have a few Gulfstreams).

Interested to know which US operators will be the first recipients and whether I will be seeing any in the NY area soon - I really like the look of that design. Those French certainly know how to design sexy airplanes...

I've heard that AT&T is on the list as is Citigroup. Don't know what SN's or when they are delivered.

One of the most modern a/c and the guys got a kneeboard (second pic). Great looking jet, our big man has developed a interest in them.

Wow - nice pics. Not surprising that the French would want side-sticks on their latest airplanes. I am sure you'll see plenty in the NYC area soon enough.

....

I'm in Geneva, Swit. as we speak for MX on our plane, and the facility has a new 7X sitting here now, came in with a fresh lightning strike. Winglets removed and all. Ouch.

Nice looking plane though.

Can you snap some pix?

Are they getting A/Bushes airplane?

I don't think they are getting A/Bushes plane they ordered it a long time ago but I could be wrong.

Pretty soon it will be an all Falcon fleet as the CEO wants aircraft with 3 engines not 2.

AIN Mag 7X Pilot Report

I just saw a great 7X pilot report in the latest AIN magazine. Check it out! Good description of the FBW - I am sure Airbus drivers could appreciate it.

The EBAy owners have 2 on order for LAS

Wouldn't surprise me because I think the Ebay founder is either French or French-Canadian. They like their sexy French airplanes...

I just read that AIN article too and wow - it looks like a fun ride. I gather that the G350 and Global 5000 aircraft are considered "direct" competitors to the 7X. The fact that the 7X has a third engine (for the safety conscious) and a wider cabin would seem to make it a clear winner from an owner perspective. I would presume that current Falcon 900EX/2000EAsy owners would be likely step-up 7X customers.

I believe the globals are quite a bit longer than the 7x, 76 feet long versus the global which is 99ish. The global will also cruise at .88 mach, but other than that the falcon looks like a better buy. The avionics in the falcon are great, as well as the side stick adding more room in the cockpit. The global could definitely use a face lift with the avionics.

better buy? priced a 7X lately? Im guessing spots are selling for 50mil+ by now.

roomy? spoken like someone who certainly has not sat in either!

sit in a 7X cockpit then sit in a GLEX cockpit and tell me which one you want to spend 13hrs in.

Of course the 7X has better avionics, its about 10 years newer.

Have you taken a peak at the new Global Avionice package? It comes out in a few years and will make the 7X look antique.

both good airplanes IMHO - but apples and oranges my man!

Your right never sat in a 7x but it looked pretty big from the photos ive seen. I also wasnt aware that the 7x was close to 50 mil if thats true I would say that it is overpriced.

When does the new avionics package come out for the global? The boss is looking to buy a slot for a 5000.

August was in training for the 7x. Might have been for personal a/c. Don't know if Busch corp will get one.
BTW, is it true that if you meet a Busch pilot on the road they will pick up the tab if your drinking a Busch product?

A 7X cockpit is the same as a 900....but is roomier with the sidesticks..

It is, however, VERY small for a 13+hr airplane.

then again, what isn't?

I hear new glexs around 2011...??

G100capt is right. Busch is selling theirs I guess because Bucsh himself doesnt hold a medical to fly it. AT&T is getting one this fall and another one late next year. Serial number 6 i think.

Saw one in LAS yesterday. I can't say i was impressed. Looks like they could have made it about 10 to 15 feet longer.

.....

I was impressed when I saw it....but I couldn't care less about flying it, I was just dreaming about being the guy who could afford to ride in the back.....

But once you get to that level of transportation, there all nice rides!

I didn't quite get this. Why is AIN comparing the G350 with the 7X? It doesn't seem quite a valid comparison. Gulfstream's G500 is much closer in range (G500 at 5800nm vs 7x at 6000 nm), and I think it's pretty close in list price, too.

The pilots are encouraged to buy a round of drinks at the bar. I've heard these guys come home with $500+ bar bills and that is the norm.

I've also heard that 2 of the pilots were in there last 3 days of 7X training when they got news of the airplane not coming on line and were told to come home(I guess they stayed and finished ).
