This was the most recent thread I saw about NWA so I will post a question here, sorry if its off topic.
I was driving down 494 in MSP past the NWA hangers today (7-09-07) and saw three or four A319's sitting there with all the NWA markings pulled off, looks like they are gettting ready to be parked. Any information on how many are going and if this is the beginning or the end of the process?
Why isn't NWA ALPA defending its pilots?
What, exactly, do you suggest they do?
Go on the offensive and remind management that they have cut labor too far for the operation.
Let the employee group know that sick time is a benefit , alot like vacation, you earn and you can use as you need to. there should be no repercussions for using your benefits.
Or they could just sit there and not raise a hand when they are getting slapped around. looks alot like Battered Wife Syndrome.
sitting back and just taking a beating is what labor has come to expect these days. Please explain objectively the politcal ramifications of doing what you suggest....
Who cares about politics, it about whats right and who is held accountable for their Mistakes.
