How long has PCL been in negotiations with PCL mgmt about a better contract? Why doesnt anyone at CJC think that ALPA will clear the cloudy skies and make things better. PCL will drag out contract talks as long as possible. They will fight every issue. Even if they give some small raise (doubtful) they will not give in to other demands. Are the CJC pilots ready to strike for a low budget t-prop regional? If you are there more than 4 years, you are probably not desirable for a quality company, time for a new career. Unless you were one of the many pilots out there that got a degree in aviation. May God have mercy on your souls.

Yeah first month online 22 months total, first choice of base and weekends off, Sat, Sun and Mon. Things could be better but damn weekends off and base of choice daddy likes

So you are saying that if you are at Colgan for more that a few years you are not employable, that you are a scumbag. I have read your posts. You have no clue about the real world. You are were more that likely one of those pay for training pilot's Colgan hired back in 04. You sir are a disgrace to the industry.

I dont recall using the word scumbag. I also did not pay for CJC training. I came with an ATP, and real world experience both in and out of aviation. There are quite a number of pilots at CJC that have been around awhile, and are not employable. That is just a fact. They either have bad backgrounds, are complete rednecks, or they just dont have the contacts to move forward. That is too bad. Dont call me sir, that sounds so stupid. You wish you have had the kind of success, and peer respect that I have had in this industry. So shut your mouth, or I will gladly shut it for you.

Dude. What??

What, exactly qualifies as a "quality" company?

Those rates SUCK

Seriously, what's the attraction of flying for Colgan if 500-600 hour pilots are getting hired onto COEX and Pinnacle ERJ/CRJs? It doesn't make much sense to me unless you couldn't pass an interview at the other regionals. Can you get PIC time quicker? A rational person would look at all of the options and I doubt Colgan is one of the "better" options out there.......

Home every night, no reserve, faster upgrade than most places, higher than average flight times, not having to fly a WSCOD.

So you are telling me that since I have been at Colgan for more that four years I am not desireable to any other campant. How do you figure that? The company I want to work for is not hiring right now. That is why I'm here and for that matter why many others are still with Colgan. Keep your ignorant comments to yourself.

First of all I can't think of any pilot that is over at Colgan that is unemployable. Most of the Captain's have more time standing in the chow line than you have total time.

Complete Rednecks? Where did you come up with that brain dead remark. Sounds racist to me!

I'm glad I don't have the kind of success and peer respect you have. Because it more than likely means you have NONE!

As for the shut my mouth remark. Go back to to high school.

The Colgan pilots are a fantastic group of pilots. Skilled pilots with quality experience and they are great people to work with. Tell me why someone would not want to hire them?
