2000 hour Jet Airliner captains.

Well...............there goes the neighborhood.

Peanuckle will never make it long-term. They're going to have another bad crash (this time with pax) with those experience levels. It's not if, but when and then the Feds will have to step in and ultimately they'll shrink or shut down.

If these are the experience levels of Peanuckle captains, look for me at the Hertz counter.

Expressjet only requires ATP mins, which is 1500 to upgrade......

No thanks to Pinnacle...if I was going to go anywhere near the red tail Id get a street captain position at Compass who will eventually steal Pinnacle's flying anyways.

What if you come to PNCL with 2500TT and 1500ME and 500 Turbine with 1500 hours in a CRJ from another operator? Does this qualify you to bid on a Captain vacancy?

Thanks?

You won't see it in writing but if you've got the CRJ time you will likely be able to upgrade right after completing FO IOE.

How bad is staffing over at PCL and what are their hirng projections for the remainder ofthe year?

Wasn't there an article recently about a lot of flights beign cancelled?

For what its worth, I interviewed there three years ago, had an offer, went with another company. They called me Friday asking if I was interested. I have had no contact with them since I turned down the offer three years ago. So I guess if they are "cold calling" people for slots its pretty bad...

"Say vahat if its time to unpimp zee auto..."

Hi!

They only hire FOs. HOWEVER, once you're hired, you can bid the next day.

Guys with the hours have been getting the capt bid award during indoc.

I DO think they now pay for or provide housing.

Their new info on their website states that Pinnacle new-hires have "preferential" treatment to get a Delta interview.

I'll go as a Captain. Here are my terms:

Minimum 15 days off per month. Eleven of twelve months per year must have at least 18 days off.

Those pay rates in the contract...well you'll need to compensate me at 1 1/2 times those rates...with C.O.L.A. at C.P.I + at least .5% for the next ten years.

That's for starters...perhaps I'll have additional needs I'll add later.

Isn't Pinnacle currently in contract negotiations? Make the company recognize your value, guys and girls.

Good luck getting your refferal money, I recommended several folks that are working there now. Anyday now my money is comming, anyday now

Okay, I'll ask the question then.

How much "Pinnacle Credit" is required? Let's say you already meet the company minimums but don't have enough total time to qualify for a street captain position. How long would you have to fly for Pinnacle to upgrade?
Drew, you're not thinking about it, are you?

How much does first year captain get paid?

I got a cold call from them too. I was there for a few ... err quite a few months (trying to be a street Capt at the time, furloughed from Independence) in 2005 until I resigned to go to greener pastures... anyway, I got a call from recruiting the other day noting that I had "previously applied" (yeah I worked there and resigned for crying out loud) and would I be interested. So they are indeed looking for anyone with a pulse if they are digging up names from previous applications.

PCL lost over 30 pilots last month, which has been the average for months now. Thankfully, I was one of the ones that finally escaped. Virtually no one has been giving them two weeks notice. I don't know how they're going to staff the airline.
