QualificationsMinimum requirements: 1st Class Medical certification, FAA ATP with type rating in at least one specified Bombardier fleet aircraft with a minimum of 500 turbine, 500 MEL, 2500 TT.

To you Flex folks, is this really true Flex now requires type in one of your aircraft? The above requirements I pasted from the F/O 2012 job posting on the Flex website.

No not true. They require a 737 type.

I don't think that's true but I will try to find out and post it. If you don't see it here, I spaced it! PM me in a couple of days.

Not true at all. Those were the requirements when I was hired, and I surely wasn't typed in a Lear before that.

Whats the pay

What are your payscales at flex? Any choice on fleet when hired?

I think they said they got a 3% raise, so add that to these figures.

You'll make between $45k-50 your first year. They assign you whichever aircraft they need you in at the time. First Officer pay is the same regardless of which aircraft you're flying.

I'll go ahead and disagree with the $45-$50k your first year, unless you are including per diem. Realistically, you'll barely make $40k your first year.

Yeah, I guess I should've mentioned that I was taking per diem, overtime, work on days off etc into my calculation.

My pay for last year, my first year, all but 2 weeks of the year, after 401k, and non taxable money I made just under 40k. If you put the 401k back in I made over 42k. Thats without much OT maybe one day and no per diem.
