If this raise took effect 3 days ago, why am I finding out about it on this board and not from the company? No voicemail, nothing on the company board, and I was not one of the lucky ones to get an email. Why the silence? Is it so low it is not worth mentioning?
 
We are right on the heels of our bonus, maybe they are just waiting. I do know that the 300 pilots received a text from our ACP telling us. Call you ACP.

How many pilots had to leave to get the 3% raise through?
 
Well, I'm happy. I've been here for 10+ years and my pay has gone up about 400% since I started. I am only working about 165 days away from home if you take into account training (DFW Based) and 4 vacations. I got a raise last year and now another increase this year. I'm sure it's all relative but I'm having a great career/life.

As for the details, it's being mailed to everyone. Looks like another 2.5% to 3%. But sure beats no change at all.

well, dont get me wrong, I like working here and have no intention of going anywhere for a while, but I'm just surprised that something which should be a big pilot moral boost is such a moot topic.

It's more than I was making 3 days ago so I'll take it quite happily.
 
I am amazed some NJA smartass has not come in here bashing us because we are not big and bad like they are! I did not know about the raise but I am happy to take it.

this is why unions are good.... for dumb a#$es like you. everything is me, me, me. what about where did you get your start? did you forget where you came from? what about everyone junior to you?

I'm not follwing your comments, this pilot has been here from close to the start, went through the growing pains in the beginning when we weren't sure if the doors were going to stay open. he has paid his dues at this company and deserves what he now makes, days off, and vacation.
What does the Union have to due with this and why is he a dumb a$$?
 
Hawker dude is just here to start bashing because he has nothing else to do. I have to admit, things are getting alot better at flexjet. Less work days is good and more money is good. Now all we need to work on is FREE health insurance.

What if I want 7-up?:D And Hawker, this is a pretty good deal for us jr. guys as well. It is actually very close to my take home at CMR, and that was pre paycut.
 
Covering COLA or not, a raise is always a good thing and it's awesome you guys got one.

***Sorry, I'm still slightly amazed that I'm now working in an area of aviation that actually gets good news - Doh would understand, as a fellow reformed Comair pilot.

Well, they have gotten raises also. They are working less if they have been here for a couple years. And, maybe just maybe they are happy too.

And the raise? Well, it is an increase to the already published pay scales from last year (May 06). So I was counting on getting one increase in pay this year and now I'm getting two. I cannot, not be happy for all of us here at Flexjet. It isn't a competition between us and any other company. It's just us being happy on a public forum.
