Did I lie? I speak the truth, and the truth will set you free... You do get paid 1/2 of the deadhead flight time, but his point is that it will take him 8 hours to get from point A to point C, but since the flight time will only add up to around 5 hours, he'll get "less than 3 hours pay credit". Not too shabby, since you're getting paid not a penny more than "the industry average".

There has got to be an easier way to get from ABE to BUF

By the way, I was just curious how can they schedule reduced rest into your normal schedule in advance? that wouldnt fly anywhere else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Drive to philly, let colgan pay the miles and the parking and go direct to BUF. Thats my advice. Otherwise hope for a weather event the day of the flight and you'll be lucky to make it to LGA.
