This is why it takes everything I have to post on this site...dorks like this who start threads like this. I just have to laugh at you!

get a life loser!!!!

the last thing I want to do after a long day is hurry and run to my computer on some message board and and bash a "fellow pilot".... stuff happens and there is no shame in an abort due to takeoff config.... The pilot may or may not have made a mistake but he did the right thing by getting off the runway and having a look. God forbid in the heat of the moment this crew decided to say what actually happened when the tower asked. Regardless of who we work for we are all in this together... or at least we should be. When you come on a message board and slam another pilot you just make yourself look like an ass.. Well done!

Thank you. Somebody who is professional leaving a professional post. A breath of freash air!

If you weren't there you have no right to judge and if you decide to play armchair quarterback, when it happens to you ,just think of how many people will be looking at you like a "dumba$$". What goes around comes around. Stop acting like a fool and Maybe you will get some respect, keep this up and you make yourself look like an a$$.

Anyone know of anyone ever getting in trouble with the Feds due to a config warning abort? I've never heard of it.

I actually have. A crew went to takeoff with the trim out of the green arc. Aborted the T/O when the horn went off. They extended the flaps during the abort and when they cleared they reset the trim but not the flaps. Tried to T/O again, and again had to abort for the flap misconfig. Feds busted them on failing to follow checklist procedures.
