Now that was funny 737 cause I haven't heard the name milli vanilli in years! Wheeeeew I can't stop laughing:laugh: . Oh well I need to stop and get over to best buy. Treating myself to a new Samsung 73in DLP TV with my profit sharing check. Whatcha gonna do with yours:blush:

WD.

Most of my friends at Delta are getting over $200,000 in equity paid out in cash (before taxes), and another estimated $50,000 to $60,000 for the dumped pension. Congrats on your new TV.

When HS, WHEN??? That's mostly a wish list and I would be real suprised if that ever pays a dime. Management is sure to find a way to rape them on that deal! Now you stated "your friends" so does that mean it's not you??? Do you work for DAL?? How about AAA do you work there??? Do you fly for any legacy carrier?? Do you even have a dog in this fight?? Leave it alone man, this was between 737 and myself and trust me he doesn't need your help!!

When HS, WHEN???
Most of us sold our claim last year and it will be paid out when we exit BK.

You only WISH it wasn't true.
I'll tell you what WD, wish in one hand and crap in the other. Let me know which one gets filled first!

I agree....Where else can you work for a company that makes a $500 million profit and snowballs its pilots into being the lowest paid in the industry!

It's a public forum WD. If the man wants to respond, he can respond.
BTW, I see LCC still making headlines on last weeks ice storm, and combined "awsome customer service." Keep up the great work WD....At least you can't get any worse than last place!

When? Supposedly when they exit BK, and the claims have already been sold. So, they only have to wait until exit, rumored to be around May 1st, and management cannot take one dime, since the pilots were just one of many creditors with unsecured debt. Other entities got the same deals, like banks and other shareholders. They also get to divide a $650 million note, which will be seperate to the equity cash.

And NO, I do not work for Delta. I used to work for Tower Air as a 747 FO, but got laid off when we went under. I now fly a LR45 in FLA, and have several good friends at Delta whom I talk to on a regular basis. I manage the Lear and fly it, and I really enjoy it. This forum allows me to talk about the issues that I care about, and I see a lot of Delta bashing that needs to be corrected. Am I not allowed to add my opinions?

Here's where you're dead wrong as no one outside DAL wants to see you get paid more than me but BK is a real funny thing and things like "payback always seem to disappear!!!

When does DAL open negotiations??? See we're there right NOW and trust me the wages I 've see thus far are better than DAL and they have changed a couple of times since the beginning yet all have been higher than DAL:p Focus on getting out of BK in one piece as this show ain't over just yet...

I told you before carriers in BK seem to always have the best service so have at it fellas. I also told you that carriers in contract talks always seem to have the worst and that's where we are today. Now in a few years when you open contract talks and your're done stalling and begging the BK court for more time while all the other players are out there handling theirs then we can talk but as for now, DAL is using the system to get over. I bet those fuel costs are kicking you all A$$ right about now.

Keep up the JD powers award. lets us know if you get your money then we really will have something to discuss.

DB,

There is no real fight or differences for us to settle. We used to work together for the same commuter and I have only recently found out thru pain staking effort his true identity. ( don't worry 737 I won't tell unless you REALLY piss me off  ) . In all seriousness DB you really have to take this forum for what it's really worth, a place to have some fun and on occasian find some useful info.

I have nothing at all against 737pylt, FDJ2, 800Dog, or the grand pupah himself General Lee. This is the fun forum, if I want serious insults I'll log on to the ALPA site;) .

Now, that's funny right there. I don't care who ya are.
