You got to be kidding right? A guy comes on here with nothing positive intentions and you blast him? ASA is going down because employees like you. Enjoy the ride you miserable bum. And what lawsuit did you win that allows the plan B boat.....

...in my 9th year. I can't get on the ASA bashing wagon. There are a lot of areas with room for improvement. But over all, it hasn't been a bad ride. Looking back to my new hire days and just before that...ASA was a mess. Compare it to today...much better. I look foward to leaving very soon...JetBlue, Southwest or Delta. I'll definately miss it and everyone here. ASA has been my family for 9ish years...I can't talk $hit about my family. I get aggravated sometimes...but it's water off the back.

...just had to say it.

Hopefully it's a one way ticket to no where!

Hopefully the anchor is chained to your ankle.

Why don't you make yourself useful and join the Taliban or something?

Hey flight instructor....Did you get your knee pads fixed? Word in the mens room is that they're velvet lined!

I have never responded to one of your posts and you have no idea who I am, but I am well aware of who you are. I don't chime in often on these kind of nonsense posts either, but for you to come barging in on a totally innocent thread and start spouting off like you did is totally uncalled for. Start your own thread if you want to bash the Delta guys. All the original thread starter wanted to do was encourage ASA guys that are interested in Delta to keep their patience. For someone to just chime in like you did, unprovoked, is just flat-out nonsense and shows your lack of respect for others, and the fact that you would take time out of your day to post something like that is quite disturbing as well. Enjoy the ATR until they retire them in 2015. Good Day.

Thanks for your concern acarpe, but there are about 1700 ASA pilots. Delta is going to hire about 200 pilots this year. I agree with you that things don't look good for ASA now. We are about to become the next CMR/ACA/AirWisc/ALG/Mesaba due to the failures of ALPA. I can't afford to spend the next 10 years getting back to even. I will ride this horse into the ground and once I determine that is where it is headed, I will do my best to harm Delta and ALPA - the two parties who conspired to create this portfolio. Good goes around and so does BAD.......

It figures you'd be hanging out in the mens room talking about velvet lined knee pads with a bunch of other geeky guys.....dumba$$.

Why is it virtually every retort you have involves an oral fixation with other men?

Were you violated as a young boy or is it you continue to practice today?

Because you're a "man's man."

I know you have a fetish for young boys, so I'm trying to "keep it on your level!"
Now back to turns around a point and all those young students!

I'm glad you're focusing on management at asa Alan.....Because you'll be there for a VERY long time with your pal Johnny B!

No. It was in response to 737 calling you a CFI.
That 737POS isn't very bright. I'm a little scared of the idea of him piloting anything. Perhaps hes some geeky kid in middle school playing on dads computer. Seems most of his posts are just before school and just after school hours. He never seems to post during school hours.....hmmm.

Joe, thank god I only saw you on the bus twice and never had to fly with you-got my whole month change that month a few years back-the good ole days of 3 weeks off for one week of vac. Getting 8 yrs back to your current pay is only pay, to many of us alot of other things matter in life, those things are things ASA will never be able to give you.

I am hearing a lot of rummor about some unpleasant things in the works! From reading some of the posts here, I think some of you all are a bit nervous also! I just thaught I would encourage you ASA guys who are interested, to get your applications for Delta done! In a short time the hiring will be in full swing and we are excited about getting ASA pilots. Not stiring a pot, or starting a negative post, but from experience (2 1/2 years on furlough) I would have loved to have had Plan B well in place! Good luck to you guys!

The rest of this thread has deteriorated but I couldn't agree with this more! ASA guys, Delta has a warm spot in their hiring heart for you! Get the ball rolling!!!! NOW!!!

Start a petition to bring a vote for single carrier....DOH,,ONE LIST...So what if ALPA loses....

That's exactly what they did when I was there back in 2000... and they managed to piss of every single DALPA guy and turn the what could have been a positive into a major negative.. ASA's got some good people, but some of the guys that are active in their union politics are also the ASA pilots worse enemies.. ONE ALPA was just that.. self serving and did nothing for 90% of the pilot at ASA or Delta.

I love your name... Go Jackets!!

Joe, good for you if you're happy at ASA but to say you will do everything you can to harm ALPA and Delta was childish and immature. I haven't applied there either and I am quite content at AirTran (and I worked at ASA for several years btw), but I don't have any negative feelings towards Delta.

180,
I didn't say that I AM doing everything to harm ALPA and Delta - quite the contrary. I am bending over backwards to help ASA/Skywest/Delta - as of now. However, if ASA becomes the next victim of the portfolio wheel of (mis)fortune, that will change. I am personally tired of the being the pawn in the game between ALPA and management. The day we become the next ALG/ACA/Mesaba, I will be breaking ATRs all over Dixie. I will also quit paying ALPA dues at that time. Neither side is benefiting from this "game", and it is time for BOTH sides to change....

In addition, to put things in context, you should read some of the comments Acarpe has made in regards to CMR pilots. Do a search of his comments on FI and then get back to me.....
