How close to the one year did you receive another invite?

I imagine this is somewhat fluid, so save me the search function comments if that's the plan.

Amazing???

It's amazing to me to see how many people still pursue a company that said no before. One would think that more peoples response would be well, you don't want me, I don't want you. Its like the guy who won't take no for an answer from the woman when he asks to dance. I guess it says alot about the company. Some just dont see SWA as a job....

I had two friends of mine get 2nd interviews so far. One was 1yr/1mo later the other was 1yr/8mo later -since the first dude that replied to your thread was no help. I was lucky to get hired the first time around...but I got the type rating because I figured it was good for at least 3 interviews. Thats the game of Southwest..and thats how I was playing it.

Sometimes people just have bad days....you, the interviewer, etc. Plus what they were looking for a year ago may be different today.....I was told no the first time I applied for military flight training...4 years later graduated number one in my military flight school class.....it took A LOT of "no's" before I got that one yes (they thought I would be too old by the time a training slot opened up, I made the cut-off by 2 weeks and it wasn't easy).

Russ,

They probably saw your true colors the first time around. Try Southern Air Transport next.

Bye Bye--General Lee

I'm at 2 years and haven't heard anything yet. I've kept in touch with them and have been told I'm still on the "list." Waiting patiently...

I heard about 18 months to get the call for a second interview. That's what apparently HR is telling people.
