Anyone have current hire dates for the most junior captains on the brasilia and crj???

Bro- 3/13/2006
CRJ- 4/14/2005

Not including those in training.

Yep. Straight from Skywestonline.

But I do stand corrected on one point, I think the individual is still in upgrade training.

You can check date of hire by looking at the seniority list, employee number and directory. That will give you DOH.

Rumor from a reliable source, toward the end of 2007, RJ upgrades down to 8 months for those that have the 2500TT and 1000 crew.

Yeah I just looked. 5.26.2005 is the most junior upgrade awarded. Doesn't say when training is though. ORD FO awarded ORD CA

The 4/05 hires should be in IOE late JAN. 5/05 in groud right now. If I was a betting man I would say it will drop to 1 year next spring/summer.

Like I said, if the hiring forcast and the new RFP's pan out, expect it to go down to 8 months in 2007.

And if the new RFP's Pan out hundreds of Comair Pilotswill be on the street. Keep hoping for the RFP's to pan out Skaff.

I sympathise, but where's your scope?

How would Midex scope stop Midwest from soliciting for RJ flying? The only thing Midex can scope is what Midex does with pilots on it's list. They have no control over what Midwest does. That would be like SKYW putting scope on DAL. SKYW holdings is who needs scope slapped on them with the whole ASA/SKYW whipsaw game brewing.

I think midex is Midwest's callsign......

Skyway flies as midwest connect...not sure what their callsign is....:pimp:

Midwest Air Group owns both Midwest Airlines (Midex), and Skyway dba Midwest connect (Skyway X).

The way I understand it is that scope has no effect in the Skywest case.

Skyway's callsign is "overlooked once again", but shortened to Skyway-EX

Stupid question: Ive been flying in the industry for years now, but am finding the "RFP" term elusive...Whats it stand for again??? My acronym book is packed away......

I have no desire for Comair to lose flying or for anybody to be on the street. I'm just letting you guys know what I heard.

If you want the Delta RFP to pan out for your company, then you are indirectly hoping that Comair will furlough. You can't have it both ways.

Anyone who voted on that pathetic "pay-increase" or is anti-ALPA at SkyWest does indeed have a disire to put Comair (and ASA) pilots on the street. I'm not saying you fit into those catagories.
