Yeah, SLC isn't the same with PanEx
Can you specifically request SLC when hired? Or do they just put you in whatever base they need filled at the time.

I imagine the IFR 135 mins are pretty firm as far as hiring goes... I'm at 1,000tt/ 285 multi.... so I'll probably have to wait a while longer.
At your times, the only way we could hire you currently is a part 91 trainer in BUR (or an E120 FO if anything were open; I don't know of any of those at this time.) Once you got to 1200 total, you could bid to SLC. I don't think SLC has any PA31 (help me on this, SLC locals) but with a couple hundred hours as a trainer, you might be able to get to a BE99.
To hire directly into the 99, you would probably need about 1400+ hours.

Don't we have enough Training capts out here? Who think they know the line but have never flown it! Honestly I think theres 5-6 training capts who I havent seen once on the line.

citabriapilot, If "that one guy" is who I think it is I flew with him last week. He told me he was on the 99 out of SLC. He is a captain here and I had to put him on my do not fly list. God help us all when a company is that desperate for captains that he can make it.
P.S. I may not be thinking of the same guy, but I hear he has a reputation at AMF!
