ASSINELLI,

What airline do you work for, if you do? Do you not have duty time limitations? Maybe your part 91. Anyway, if this happened they were just following the contract/fars. They don't have control over when they report, the company sets the time, they show and the clock starts. If there are delays due to late inbound, mx, whatever it does not matter. The duty time has started. Why is this so hard for you to understand? Are you challanged or just an ***********************************? Again, others have asked who you work for and in what capacity and you have avoided the question. Why don't you tell us, are you ashamed?

K Fed is hardly dead. He is still married to Brittney Spears and has recently released a pretty good CD. I admire him because usually women take us for all our money. K Fed is evening the score by muching off Brittney. Gotta love it!

Looks like you know as much about Hollywood relationships as you do about the aviation industry.

Brit is done with your boy, his "music" sux, and he won't get jack in the divorce.

Assinelli. The company sets the report time and the clock starts period. You have no control or choice. And if you go to an alternate and can't continue within your duty period you are also done.

757 jackass. Once you upgrade to the A330 or the 747 and do some Intl. Flying with longer block times you'll see how easy it is to make the crew run out of time -- especially in the case of a diversion. Of course each such event costs the company money in addition to screwing passengers. Idiotic actions like these cost the company money and goodwill and give the whole pilot group a bad name.

Bullsh!t, I hope he sticks it to her and gets half. That is if they call it quits. If they do call it quits, he deserves half of there wealth. K Fed is worth it.

His music does not suck though. The guy has some talent.

Yes and I suppose if you just have a 30 minute pad for your duty period to go illegal -- you can't ask for a fuel uplift and then do a work to rule in order to walk away from the flight. Or ask for the Potable Water to be topped off or some other idiotic crap (oh wait you guys refer to it as innovation).

Yeah, great news. For bottom-feeders.

There's always somebody, somewhere willing to do more for less.

Why don't you be happy for guys with vested interest and seniority, and families to feed, that thier being recalled?

It must suck to be you... kill yourself.

Accinelli, Your way off buddy.About the only thing that could slow you up would be a mechanical and usually that would be called in before you land at said alternate.Everything else is pretty much handled for us. Not like after a 13 hr leg you would have that much time to play with anyway.

If anyone recalled actually wants to go back, great for them. The problem is too many knuckleheads with Shiny Jet Syndrome thinking it's a step up to work for Frankensteenland for peanuts when furloughed Red Tails bypass their recall and NWA has to start hiring off the street.

BTW, I have a greater vested interest in NWA than you could possibly fathom. I have watched my (decidedly) better half devote 10 years (including a strike and a proud NO vote on the POS TA) to Northwest only to see horrible management decisions destroy a once-proud airline.

This is not about furloughed pilots and their recall to the line. It is about bottom feeders like instructordude who are giddy at the prospect of mainline hiring (at slave wages) because the furloughed people are blowing off recall because they found something better. People like him denigrate the profession and speed the race to the bottom.

Just a minor correction, furloughed guys are not red tails, we are Blue! WE didn't sell any one out! Plz continue!

Ref the recalls. If I read it right the ALPA info yesterday indicates they ended up with to many recalls for Jan classes.Looks like nobody wanted to come back over the holidays but Jan is a different story. They may not need to go thru the whole list now.

Good gouge. S/W Crew Planning today: They anticipate going thru the entire furlough list before the May APA is drawn up (in Jan).

I'm still amused at the amount of chaff on the subject of recall/hiring to a legacy airline. The new contract is a stink bomb, no question, but it is better than others. My Spidy Sense tells me that's who'll be returning/applying.

Actually, guys like me won't even apply because we're not qualified. With that, I am sure there is a lot of Pinnacle Capt's salivating to go to NWA. Good for them!

Good morning ASS (or is this Tim Rainey)

Please answer our questions as far as who you work for and in what capacity. You seem to be a expert on the situation at NWA. Please give flight numbers and dates of the flights in question. I can assure you that if something like this happened they were just following the contract/fars, nothing else. The company never realized how much the pilot group bent the contract and went the extra mile to get the job done even when they always held us to the letter. We have always done more than required such as multiple calls for catering, lav service, rampers, mx,(having the correct MEL open when they arrive to speed things up vs writing it up and going to get a coffee, etc.) Now they seem surprised and caught off guard that the group that laid down without a fight is actually fighting back with the only thing we have, the contract and fars. They overreached and have turned us into a demoralized and unmotivated workforce. They are getting what they pay for and that is just what is required not doing all the extras we use to do to keep the operation running smoothly. BTW, have been on the whale for over 2 yrs so I have a little bit of an idea how it works. Have worked lots of the 2 leg trans pacs(thank god they are going away) and absolutly would have walked in kix or nrt if a delay would push our duty time 1 minute past required as this was the most unsafe flying I have ever done including pt.135 on demand.

Good morning ASS (or is this Tim Rainey).

Thanks...I just spewed Diet Pepsi all over my screen...

Ditto your comments. If there are any pilots slowing things up intentionally, it is only a few of the chronic stupid that always seem to do the wrong thing and the right time.

What some people fail to recognize is NWA's seniority list has lots of old guys on it. If I was say 34 and had been on the the property for 8 yrs I wouldn't be going anywhere. I haven't figured it out but fair to say all or most of the 600 wide body Captain's will be gone in the next 10 yrs plus a large number of the narrow body guys too.As a recalled guy told me on the J?s the other day. "This sucks but most everything else out there sucks worst."
BTW.As for walking the FA's have duty times down to the second.LOL

6 months out of bankruptcy should be a good time to go back. The direction of the company will be known by then.

The last I heard the TA was VOTED FOR and accepted by the majority --including the pay rates. Rejecting it was an option -- but how many had the #@!$% to stand up and fight?

Why be so miserable and continue at a company you don't like and let that misery influence decisions like walking off flights and screwing passengers -- which in turn costs the company money and goodwill.

Remember good contract or poor contract -- there is a duty to passengers -- and most idiotic pilots like you conveniently tend to forget that. Now go start milking the blocks on whatever you're flying.

-- WRONG THING and the RIGHT TIME? Did you mean the Wrong thing at the Wrong time? Or do your wrongs become right at certain times of the day.

Are you sure someone didn't mix some Rum and Vodka in that Pepsi?

Don't even get me started on FA duty times.

Since I'm a furloughed NWA pilot, I can have a little fun with this thread:

TOP TEN REASONS I'D GO BACK TO NWA.

10. I dig the 65 year old flight attendants. (Sorry grandma)

9. I miss wearing a hat. (I know, not required anymore)
8. I'd maybe get a chance to fly E190s with NWA colors at Compass!
7. I miss the steam gage flying on the Diesel-9. (Initial heading please)
6. First class meals are better than my lunch bag. (Sorry honey)
5. I'd get a chance to fly the DC-10. (Darn, you're retiring them?)
4. International flying baby!
3. My frozen pension worth $2.00/month for life!
2. I'd rather trade my top 10% seniority at JB for the bottom 10% at NWA.

And drum roll. The number one reason to go back to NWA. TWO WORDS!

1. DWANE WOERTH! (What, he's not ALPA prez anymore?)

Wow... 10 years? DAMN... makes the 28 years my father has invested there seem like chump change.

1. "Rum and Vodka" in Pepsi?...together? Yuk!
2. This is clearly the RIGHT time to express to our management that we expect better treatment, in the form of quids, if they want help with their staffing problems. The WRONG way to demonstrate our expectation is to take it out on our pax.

Please, for the love of Odin, stay the heck away from NWA!

Now get back there are clean up that cabin!

Assinelli(aka Tim Rainey)

You are still not answering our questions as to who you work for and in what capacity? Be a man and answer. You know that Occam, jam-bro,myself and others are NWA pilots. Again what is so hard for your simple mind to understand that we are only flying the contract and following the fom/fars. All of the extras that we use to do and you douchbags took for granted are no more. Even the weakdick yes voters are disgusted and are only doing the required. For years the pilot group (as with most airlines) took the high road and did the extras because that is our psychological makeup(get the job done) Well guess what MFer we are not doing the extras anymore. Also, do you think with your latest threats of calling capts. at home its going to get us to start doing other peoples jobs again? Better think again ***********************************. Wait until we have our first accident with fatalities due to fatigue/pilot pushing. It is going to be your ass Mr. Rainey that is going to be on trial and you will not have a single pilot on your side other than that puppet Pete Moron. Don't know if you have been following whats going on with ALPA. We have new leadership and we are going to extract some pain out of your asses. Game on MFer. McClain,Giveaway,Squeeler,Spinabichler are all gone and there is a new sheriff in town that has orders to not budge. I have always gone above and beyond for this company as has most of the pilots. Not anymore, just the minimum to get by until I see some respect and repair of my contract. Take that to Steelan, Cohen and the other scumbags you answer to. Your choice, either you robber barrons back down and give back some of what stole at gunpoint or this company will NEVER make it out of bankruptcy. HOW BOUT THEM APPLES MFer? Oh by the way Tim are you still beating your flight attendant wife? Thats the word on the line.

The rebirth of COBRAAIR is coming alive.

Accinelli,FA duty times are on computer just like everybody else. Are suggesting people(FA'S) that have been treated so well by the their employer would break the rules for the company. You have got to be kidding.

.

Fatigue after walking out on flights or having to call for lav service, catering or some of the other stuff you describe as "extras" -- you must be really stressed.

As for never making it out of bankruptcy -- there's always the option of emerging and filing Chap 11 again or for that matter Chap 7.

Happy Flying moron.
