K Fed is hardly dead. He is still married to Brittney Spears and has recently released a pretty good CD. I admire him because usually women take us for all our money. K Fed is evening the score by muching off Brittney. Gotta love it!

"Pretty Good CD", you have lost all credibility with me !

That dude is a HoMo, he is just not outed himself yet.

No actually your wife told me last night. She knows what is going on with most airlines because she is a pilot groupie.

ASSINELLI

I think you are lost again. This is not the regional forum.
Anyways, back to the original question. You seem to have a hard-on for NWA. What's up? Need help? Tells us what bothers you.

P.S. Quit eating your boyfriend's tube steak, it is making you an angry ladyboy...

I don't remeber those guys or Guat.

My point is that it is good to see people go back to work and folks getting hired. No flaime intended. And no, I'm not looking to go Northwest. Gosh, I don't even qualify. Leave it at that. Sorry.

I think this is TheGuat!! That looks like another self portrait of himself! This guy is just a pain in the A$$

K Fed is not a HoMo. I don't know where you are getting that. He gets a lot poontang and not just from Brittney.
As far as the CD goes, if you bothered listening to one of the songs on the site you would realize how much talent K Fed has. He may make it to the top.

I am now ending this thread
because it is boring and
didactic!

What ever. Get the thread back on track as Mod would say. My only point is it is good to see guys getting a call back to work. Again, sorry for the confusion. Leave it at that.

instructordude=TheGuat!!

Don't bite into this guys antics!! He is one of the biggest flame-throwers on this board!! He seems to have knowledge on just about every topic posted!! It's amazing how someone with so little time and experience can always inject his 2 cents worth!!

I'm not Guat, D'Angelo, Uppercrust, 410dude, etc...... All I said again was It is good to see guys going back to work. I didn't say anything about pay, unions, blah blah blah. It is good for those going back to work and not a not a bad thing.

About little experience and time well, I plead the 5th.

Lets see -- an 8 year DC9 FO telling someone to go to the Regionals Forum. Can't wait to see the E190s at Compas -- if you don't understand look up the capacity on the E190s and then head on over to the Regionals Forum.

I fly the DC9 for a major so I don't follow your comment. Don't u fly for a regoinal?

There you go again with your neg comments, wishing to see 190s at Compass. Is that suppose to cause fear or concern in me. Are you suggesting that I am going to be forced to fly at Compass or anyone else who is at the NWA mainline for that matter? The other day you mentioned something about a rumor that NWA crews walked away from a Tokyo flight and screwed the pax(not true). Where do you get all this useless info.

Come on dude!! What's going on... Are you going to answer the question. What do you have against NWA??

Don't end the thread yet, Baja and I have NWA uniform pieces that are 4 sale, still no takers, must not be that good of a deal to go back huh?? No longer LOA

The reason that there are no takers is because they all have jobs. Very few people can just sit around and wait. Most have bills to pay and families to support. Most furloghees got really good jobs at Fedex, UPS, SWA, etc. A lot are in the mil and won't have to answer the recall since their seat is protected by law. I see them going thru the list of furloughs by February. Then it's take it or leave it. Once that is done and they start hiring, I am sure they will not have any problems finding new hires for the mainline. Things suck here now. But I am hopeful that it will improve because it cannot get any worse. The company knows that and they are working with ALPA to fix it soon(Kool-aid tasting gooood). At least we are recalling and will hire soon. Movement is always good.

I am glad that you are doing well... Where are you now?

By the way, Are u a 40R? I'll give u $20 for the jacket...

The NWA mechanics strike is now over. NWA is also pulling 5 757's out of the desert to replace some of the 10 going to international routes.

For the old FI heads, remember GunRunner?

Instructordude, you're an idiot.

Hag

I think I just saw the gigantic Milwaukee's Best Light beer can crush a doofus CFI airline pilot wannabe....

Attention Instructordude:

Listen, as one of the other posters said here, going back to work at NWA isn't all it's cracked up to be. The example given was if YOU went back to your flight school after you had been laid off in the off season. They didn't need you anymore. No hard feelings, right?

Well they do now! Trouble is, your flight school slashed your pay by a third and made you work longer hours.

By your statements and logic, you'd go rushing back when they called you. There are other places to work out there. Don't whore yourself. This industry has enough of them.

Flying is fun, yes. But all the BS we put up with is an expensive tariff. Please remember this.

Cheers,

SCR

Yeah I didn't think you would understand. Being a DC9 FO at NWA you also wouldn't know about Crews walking away from the NRT flight twice and screwing passengers -- but you would know how to whine and complain.

I completely understand your point. I'm just saying those who choose to go back should not be called bottom feeders. It has to be better than what they are currently doing to go back. I feel bad for what has happened at NWA and am happy for those who have moved on to greener pastures. For those returning though, I wish them the best and don't believe they are sell outs or whores. Believe me I know what whores are, both figuratively and literally.

On a side note though, you never know what is going to happen down the road. Look at Continental during the 90's (I was just a punk back then, oh I still am). They went from worst to best and are arguably today an airline leading the pack. Never, would have guessed it 14 years ago. NWA gets its act together and who knows. Never, ever sell out a company.

Accinelli,
Just so you know the crews didn't screw the pax, its not rocket science even for FA's. If you are out of duty time your out, doesn't make difference if your international or domestic.

And I suppose there are no ways that a crew can make sure they run out of duty time which seems to be the MO at NWA.
