Latest word from the company suggest there may be no new classes until 2007! Company says they will interview the rest of the year but may not have any actual classes. Here come the traditional LOOOOOOONG Air Wis upgrades. Of course there are over 300 ac worth of bids out there now if you are a kool-aid drinker, personally the kool-aid gives me a stomach ache.

Im telling you go to CHQ if you feel you must work for a regional.

Bummer

Until non of the RFP's are awarded to AWAC...in which case the company ranks begin to empty once again.

O NO you poor baby. No classes until 2007. Gosh, guess this means the 2006 Riddle/Predue/ND or whatever grads will have to wait a year maybe 2 or 3 until they can get to the left seat. Darn the hardship. This terrible terrible world.

Holy Crap!!!! Two months of possibly having no classes!!! And over the holidays too! Wow that will really put a wrench in everything. And everyone here thought they were on the fast track considering we haven't increased our fleet size in over 3 years and in fact have shrunk by 18 a/c in the last 12 months. Did you really come to AWAC thinking you were going to upgrade at anything less than 3 years?

Great career advice....Number 1600 out of 1600 or 800 out of 800.
For a new hire the smaller pilot group equals less airframes/resignations to get them in the left seat. They way I see it if someone were to get hired at both right now it would probably take the same amount of time...might as well get paid more while your in the right seat. Sure CHQ has alot of a/c coming...but they have a pretty big pile to climb as well, will it be enough to get you your upgrade in two years...I'd doubt it.

And your supprised that they aren't going to have classes over that time period? You need to go back and re-read that e-mail. It's very not commitial to a class beyond the 30Oct. If things keep moving the way they are, they will keep hiring the 10-15 a month, like they've been doing for a while now.
Go to CHQ? If things are that bad here, why haven't you sent them your application?

THE SKY IS FALLING! OMFG NO NEWHIRE CLASSES UNTIL JANUARY!

Most CAs I've flown with upgraded (or could have) between 3-3.5 years. Yeah, thats a looooooooooong upgrade:rolleyes: No wonder you were banned from the forum...

With 12-20 captains leaving every month, hiring will continue, even if it takes a 2 month break over the holidays. If we get Midwest flying hiring will be for growth, if not it will be because of rapid attrition as people lose faith in mgmt.
