...all of the above according to pilotyip ;)

Gojet is hiring. Upgrade is quick and that means PIC time. Quicker the better and that means getting hired at CAL, FedEX, UPS, or SWA. If those don't work out then Airtran or Jetblue come in a close show. Good luck and fly hard!

Add CX to the list-we're interviewing like crazy. It's still very competitive, but word around the campfire is they want to hire 200+ Americans next year for US basings. Good QOL, good vacation time, pretty good pay. Not for everyone, but definetely something to consider.....
Cheers!

Rumor has it that Delta may hire in 2007 (probably latter 2007) after all furloughees are called back. It is possible.

Exactly what do you mean by "system wide"?. I would take that to mean all of the feeder operators - ie Mesabe, Pinnacle, etc and NOT 1000 NWA mainline pilots.
Either direct entry captain at a regional or NWA mainline.

Direct entry captain at NWA mainline...

I'm sure my friend that is a furloughed DC9 FO (who thought he was getting called back 2 years ago) will love to know in less than 12 months he'll be a narrowbody FO.

OH WAIT, you mean on the 175, making less in the left seat than he was in the right seat of the -9. Gotcha...
