Oh, yeah! Silly! Almost as silly as starting a thread on this subject.

Regardless, I'm dying to know how it was anyone but your own fault for posting undeserved disparaging comments about Oxford Airline Training Center instructors?

We do business at your FBO. Should I pass your comments on to the managing director to see if he wants to instead use SW and perhaps let your boss know why?
Yeah, go ahead and do that. Because that would make complete and total sense, seeing that I am speaking on behalf of the company I work for.

Grow Up. For some reason you are sensitive to the issue. Maybe you have been made fun of before for the uniform you wear? And show me where I slammed the guy for going to Oxford.

With all other things being equal (and they're NOT BTW, the competition is cheaper) what difference would it make to you?

If I were looking for a school, and I learned that this one changed locations simply because of a few words spouted by some guy on an anonymous internet forum that is world renouned for pilots hating pilots, I would pass it over and look elsewhere. It would scream at me that the owner doesn't think ahead, makes snap judgements, lets emotion govern his decision making, etc.

I'm quite certain that your boss will very much care that one of his employees was on a public message board making fun of his customers.

I'd say that since YOU'RE the one tossing around untrue BS on the internet, I'm not the one who needs to take that advice.

No, I just can't stand blowhards that shoot their mouths of at the expense of others without having their facts straight.

Nope....I just never miss an opportunity to shove the truth down the throat of some condescending loudmouth.

WTF are you talking about now? I've reviewed all of my posts and never accused you of that.

Maybe it was some other CFI wearing three bars.

How did it go?

"That would be an incredibly poor decision if you changed schools only for that reason."

Regardless, it's certainly not your decision to make...and no one said anything about "changing locations."

It's just as easy to buy gas at another FBO on the field....especially since their prices are better and their employees don't think of us as a joke to be trashed on the internet.

You sure seem like a level headed individual who would not get hot under the collar due to a posting on a board deep in the bowels of a web forum.

At least that is the impression I get.

sqwkvfr

Then put your money where your mouth is and go buy the cheaper gas at the other FBO, and quit whining like a friggin' nancy. He wasn't bagging on your place of employment...

I love it. I go on a personal flight on USAir, make a comment about some guy in his uniform, and now this guy is trying to take it out on the company I work for part time...as if I were on company time, in company clothing making coments on behalf of the company.
Thats like me seeing you at the bar, you saying Air BP sucks and I go to your boss trying to get you in trouble.

Grow up.

Sweet Baby Jeeeeeezzzuuuuss, Skwkvfr, are you really this big a crybaby????

Apparently you work at a flight school that has the instructors and students, it seems, wearing uniforms. As patetic as that is, everyone has to have a job, so I don't hold that against you. But I think that anyone who has attained the maturity of a 15 year-old agrees that wearing said uniform on an airliner, outside of the classroom is at least 2 orders of magnitude more pathetic. Whether the individuals are instructors or students is immaterial, it's pathetic. Really, really pathetic. So, your feelings are hurt, because someone commented on how pathetic it was. Big deal. grow up, move on, get a job where you're not so ashamed of the silly uniforms that you have to explode into a defensive hissy fit when somone comments on your colleague/students' sad behavior.

You realize that by throwing this little tantrum, you've made yourself appear at least as pathetic as your uniform wearing friends, don't you?

They made us wear stinking pilot uniforms at our 141 school and I don't recall anyone ever being caught wearing those things outside of class except to and from. There must have been a Paradigm shift in cool guy policy since I left school...drats.
