Congrats! But there's a big difference between IAH & HOU, kinda like DAL & DFW. Rumor is, it's one of the first questions on your IOE...

A shining light upon a hill....

Here's some "gouge" on the DB results (yes, I'm waiting, too.....interviewed on 9/13):

Several guys who have gotten the call have said the same thing: Results are "official" as of next Monday 10/16....SW is holding out on notifications (officially) but that some guys have gotten a "lucky" early phone call.

I take this to mean that those of us who are waiting "aren't dead yet" until after next Monday (give or take a few days)...if you haven't heard by then....well....then the dreaded letter may be on it's way in the mail.

At least I feel better fooling myself into thinking that THE PHONE CALL IS COMING!!! (I still won't sleep)

I really hope so! I really don't like posting this stuff on here. I am really happy and honored to have this job but I agonized on this board last year when I was turned down from another carrier. YIPPEE! My husband (last name begins with P) received a phone call around 0830 EDT this morning from a DAL ACP. He has 9200 hours total time and does NOT, I repeat DOES NOT, have the type rating. Interviewed early September.

Congrats on the call! Totally agree with you....I had the same experience last summer at the same carrier - I chimed in as well after your posts on that one. Glad to see things are much better this year. Got the call myself yesterday by a Phoenix ACP and feel very fortunate. Good luck to all waiting for the calls.
