We were shown the facts and we voted accordingly. To say 9-11 didn't affect things is incorrect.

Perfect way to rationalize any decision isn't it GL?
Funny how you like to spout off so much about decisions made by pilot groups at other airlines but have such a convenient excuse for your own vote.
Does the word hypocrite mean anything to you?
Try dictionary.com if it's unfamiliar.

Wanker.

WOW. Read the title "Big announcement by CAL tomorrow" thinking I would be reading some good dirt. So I click on "last page" and what do I get? The chick fight between Gen Lee and all us pathetic, uniformed, need to be enlightend regional pilots. I sometimes wonder why we give him the satisfaction of replying to his comments?

General........step away from the keyboard.......slowly......careful.......careful................Good!

Now when you come back to flightinfo, click on the link titiled "Majors." They need your wisdom now. Your work is done here.

Rogue5 at least you gave me something to laugh about.

Wow, you are still in the dark. An excuse? You bet. That also allowed the RJs to come in and wreck this industry. We bought 400 on credit, and didn't we do great. People then shifted to LCCs with planes larger and more comfortable than RJs. 9-11 was the period that allowed that unfortunate shift. Sad but true. You are the wanker.

Nice self portrait. No, I am allowed to go to any section or thread. If you don't like it, skip it or please put me on ignore. IT really doesn't bother me at all. Really. Go for it.

This GL guy makes friends everywhere he goes I bet.

I don't need extra friends, and I really wouldn't look for them on this board. Nope. The truth hurts sometimes, and a lot of people don't want to hear opinions that may actually affect them. If they don't like them, they need to ignore them. Fine with me.

Holy Hell....

I just did a little quick math and found GL has posted an average of 5 posts a
day every day for 4 years.

TIME TO GET A LIFE !!!!

No, in reality when I am home I do 20-30. That seems about right. I have to respond to all of my "fans." And, I have a great life. Thanks for caring.

Ha! what a fan base! U have developed.U hate RJ's so much, yet you vote to allow more then stir up stuff with the folks who fly them to hide/cover up your self loathing. You never responded to WSurf's three questions. HE WAS RIGHT, YOU WERE WRONG TOOL!

I never responded to WSurf? Sure I did. He said we were going to get another large paycut, which did not happen when we signed the TA. We kept our work rules, and we did allow a metered amount of larger RJs, most of which would replace the smaller RJs clogging the system and not giving us the revenue we needed. And we gave them a whole extra 6 seats, and a limited number of RJs at that---most of which included our growth to get more of those 76 seaters. Comair is being dismantled right now, and the rest of the feed operators are getting squeezed themselves by the likes of Mesa and Gojets. Your side is losing out too, and SkyWest is flying larger RJs at smaller aircraft pay. That is the reality you guys are failing to see and exploit, because you don't want to admit it. I get more pay by going up to larger aircraft, do you? Do the SkyWest guys? They are the big players now in the regional arena, and they can't do squat to help themselves. Sad but true.

Wsurf trys to make fun of our situation, but in reality he is stuck in the right seat of a PDT Dash 8 living in New Bern, NC. Wow, that sounds like fun. You're right, he won......?? Riiiight. I'm sure he and Kooter have fun fish'n for crawdads and wait for Daisy to show up with her short shorts. Suuuuper.

OK let's review.

Which pilot group allowed their scope clause to be modified permitting DAL to use CRJ's in the first place?

Which pilot group allowed those CRJ's to be flown by pilots not on the DAL seniority list because they didn't want their squadron buds to have to start their 121 career in anything smaller than an MD-80?

Which pilot group capped the scope clause at 50 seats forcing management to use very inefficient aircraft?

The first step to dealing with a problem is admitting your role in creating it.
When you manage to get your head removed from your anal cavity on this subject we'll discuss the matter further.

From WSurf:
"1. Will the Pilots Strike?
2. Will the Pilots Take a Pay Cut?
3. Will the pilots allow a change in Scope?
I said........ No, yes, yes
Lee----> Maybe, no, no!!!"

YOU WERE WRONG TOOL!

Question, how did this thread go from the CAL announcement (which turned out to be the CAL profits than an RFP award) to a bash GL free for all?

Just wondering...

Uh, yeah I do.

If you are at SkyWest, then it can only be from the E120 to the jet. Nothing from the jet to larger jet. (Transition, not upgrade) You are wrong, tool. Sorry.

You always have to put up a front to say you will strike. You wouldn't do the same? Riiiiight.

Did we take a paycut at the signing of the TA? No, not to the pay rates.

Will there be a change in scope? That was such an open question. Was there a LARGE change in scope? No, not really. Did the company want more? Absolutely. Did they get everything? No.

There are your answers dork. Good try.

Because he posted this just to stir up stuff than acts indignant when people point out the tool he is.

I heard that the SkyWest guys have already agreed (because of the expansion possibilities and huge upgrade potential --screw everyone else) to fly the possible Q400s for E120 wages. Wow. I would have never guessed!

So how much retirement did the retirees lose? Current pilot lose? Is that not compensation?

So where do double talkers like you draw the line on scope errosion?

Turn your obvious anger inward, not at those screwed because you have no spine to do what you said here.

Sure we did, to get out of BK. But, we actually helped SW get to those wages with our old contract, and that will help us get back there when times are better. We all know it is a cycle. You know that right? And we all know DL wages beat out PDT left seat wages ANY DAY. Even our furloughed pilots will come back to 6th year pay on the MD88---about $80 an hour. You better start applying..... we will hire most likely in the Spring.

Congrats on the left seat-----as you said I was unaware. That is the way it goes.

Bye Bye--General Lee

If Wsurf is living in New Bern that's a pretty nice area on the ICW. Beats the hell out of living in Hotlanta if you ask me. I could see why he doesn't want to move on if between him and his hot wife they can afford a waterfront home.
Good on ya Wsurf.

I'm just wondering how long it will take GL to answer my 3 questions. Pretty simple stuff really. Maybe he's calling one of the more senior guys asking for help. It's OK to call a lifeline GL. Take your time.
