I don't know who COEX is and I've never heard of them while I was at CAPT. I still don't know who they are. I'm not quite sure where this COEX came from but I went through CAPT, I think I know what options were available to me.

COEX= Continental Express, XJet, ExpressJet whatever you want to call them.

V-Stall,

Oh yes! Continental Express! Let me tell you something about CAPT and COEX (now that I know who they are I'll use their code). CAPT told us before and after I entered the program that they got stuff going on with COEX and AirTran and that AirTran was going to hire our first two graduates. Well, that turned out to be a BIG lie. They even were dumb enough to invite the COO of AirTran to one of our functions and I flat out asked him what it takes to get into AirTran. He said at least 3000TT and 121/135 operation experience. So...CAPT lied.

Getting back to COEX. They blew so much sunshine up our a$$es about that airline. It was always the "they're going to get back to us" or the "they said they're willing to work with us" or the we're looking to get together with them next week; which never happens. This is some of the more recent stuff that CAPT was telling us about COEX:

5/11/06: "ExpressJet--now that the 69 A/C debacle is decided, I have recently corresponded with them--awaiting word"
3/16/06: "ExpressJet--Still working it. The 65/69 a/c uncertainty is still be used as an excuse why they have tried us yet, but it now appears we are about to break through that barrier."
1/30/06: "ExpressJet—was not at the conference so I will be talking to them next week via telephone."
1/26/06: "No word yet from ExpresJet, but I expect to meet them in Dallas. We are close--don't have a time line."
1/21/06: "I have not heard back from ExpressJet yet but I will be talking to them next week. I do not expect ExpressJet to be much longer in agreeing to work with us."
1/16/06: "Discussions with ExpressJet Chief Pilot Joe Seitz went very well. He will be in IAH Thursday of this week and will strongly urge his bosses to take CAPT resumes. If anyone has 500 to 600 flight hours, we should be able to get them to take yours now."
1/6/06: "ExpressJet Chief Pilot to be guest speaker for graduation on 13th--ExpressJet believed to be close in working with us."
7/18/05: "ExpressJet--coordinating a date"

Anyway, you get the picture...if I find more I'll update this post with more. I loved the "if anyone has 500 to 600 hours". First of all, they're so retarded that they have no idea how many hours their cadets have. And with the 225 hours that they give you, why do they even bother saying 500-600 for an ab initio program where cadets graduate between 180-225 hours on the books? Retarded.

They didn't say "airline of your choice". They said airline, Pinnacle is one, and it sounds like they woulda gave you a shot, and you didn't take it. That is YOUR problem....

And the airlines don't HAVE to hire you...

If you've ever been to GRAND forks, then you know what a fat, grain fed, acne,-riddled, heffer looks like. I mean, my god, I've seen better women at tractor pulls. And as for the guys, these ego-maniacs can't even get laid there.

Hey Flying Ninja-

I just went back and read some of your past posts. From the sounds of it, as I stated previously it sounds like you didn't get any offers because of your bad attitude. Perhaps you did get a raw deal from Riddle- but you are the only one responsible for your future, and with your attitde you wouldn't even get a job picking up trash. Act like a big boy and take some responsiblity for your career, or lack there of.:crying:

V-Stall,

My attitude was fine before CAPT screwed me. You got to remember I'm now 7 months out from graduation. I'm DONE looking for an airline job. This whole thing is about showing people that CAPT didn't live up to their advertisements. Yes, I'm taking responsibility. I'm now educating people with the bullsh!t CAPT gave me so that people don't fall victim of their line of crap. There's 17 months of history that I just can't put into words here. I'm a changed man as a result of CAPT...maybe for the worse but one thing is for sure, they are a bunch of f*ck nuts. And it is congruent with what this thread's feeling is toward Riddle. Yeah, my attitude sucks...if I wanted to get into this career. But I don't anymore. And how the hell are airlines supposed to know what my attitude is from my resume (template that CAPT forced me to use)?

gkrangers,

If someone offered you a choice of sirloin steak (ASA) or cow anus (Focus, Pinnacle), what would you choose? I left the dinner table. Enough said.

Well the bottom line is CAPT coulda got you a job....they never said good job.

Now you are on your own. Why don't you bother them to try and get you an interview with the cow anus now?

You know what? You aren't even worthy of cow anus. You are worthy of a cubicle at 25' AGL.

Embry riddle grads are far better pilots and that is reflected in their quicker advancement, superior job performance and higher salaries as compared to Joe's fLite shak FBO grads.

wait no they aren't

Thankyou, that is all.
