Well, if you really wanna get down to the brass tacks, I can add the ZFW in thousands of pounds to the Fuel Weight in thousands of pounds, subtract 100, divide by 2, and add 107 to get the V ref for the Gross Weight. But again, the Flight Engineer has a table for doin' all the guzzinta's and a computer for spittin' out all the speeds, so I'm really only backing him up.
