Hey Mr. S. Crapdog. I changed your insulting post just slightly. Continental: the GoJets of the majors.
Oh yeah, that giant pay raise is coming in two years, I forgot. LOL
Congrats on your career choice.
I agree.
With all the retirements, CAL could be the most secure major out there. Also, there is a good chance that CAL will be the highest paid eventually with a new contract.
I hope to be there soon.
That's cause I did the interview, was hired, offered a class date, and turned them down. I know it is hard for you to believe, but I didn't want to spend my career at a bottom feeding airline.
Also, I think that you will find that many of us Express Jet pilots have changed our mind about Big CAL.
Looks like it turned back into a turd after Gordon left.
Have fun there. I hear it sucks pretty bad. LOL

My favorite airline is the one who sends me a paycheck until I get ready to retire and pays my retirement like they promised to when I do retire.
Right now, I hope that's FedEx.
Ask me in 25 years or so.
Hi!
Note-My list changes about every 6 months, and it's radically different now than in 2000 (I think UAL was #1 then). If I'm not hired in 6 months, I'm sure it will change again.
1-Gulfstream (not an airline)-My first choice-a longshot.
1.1-FedEx Problems: Not hiring. No family travel benefits. May be bought out and taken private, which could ..........Don't want to live/train in Hong Kong. Will I get merged/furloughed/Chapter 7d before I retire?
Double commute unless ORD.

YIP
shouldn't you be fishing?
Heavy international cargo to domestic narrowbody passenger?
Why the sudden change of direction from #5 to #6? Is there something in particular about the world's highest paid 737 operator that you find appealing?
We still have combi's. They are converted 400's. The bulkhead is fixed now. Don't need permission to take a leak, It's kind of nice. BTW, we still go to Prudhoe Bay aka Deadhorse.Alaska...always thought the 737 combi flying they did out of ANC was interesting, especially when they used to serve Dutch Harbor and Purdhoe Bay.![]()
