Wow!,… now what I did was brilliant, I was just languishing in the Coast Guard and the thought of Captain was 22 years INTO my career. I, as a risk taker, and one who wanted to climb the ladder quickly, transferred to the USAF and they made me a Captain on day one!

Take that Biotch; I went from lousy Lieutenant to Captain overnight! Now if I flew C-5’s I’d be almost as cool.

Many years ago my father was the youngest 747 driver in the world. he flew for TWA and he was in his early to mid 20's. I couldnt see that happening again

I remember when I was doing my flight training, and reading an article in AOPA about the youngest guy ever getting a CE-500 type rating at 18 years old.
