FO: Capt?

Capt. What?

FO: What was it like flying back before the EICAS2000 days?

Capt: go back to your Ipod.

FO: Yes Capt.

When you avoid all 877 and Unavailable numbers calling you daily. Sorry I can't pay that this month (or the next)

When your 7 year old daughter ask you what kind of jobs make good money and you throw out the usual Doctors, Lawers, Engineers, Pilots. At which point your 7 year looks at you and says "Dad... pilots don't make any money", and you say-yes honey your right.

Q. Whats the difference between a large pizza and a regional FO?

A. a large pizza can feed a family of four.

While waiting for the hotel van you strip yourself of all airline garb, epaulets, and such, only to have the other regional crew ask what you're doing. When you tell 'em you just quit and are going back to flight instructing, they look upon you with envy, "man, I wish I could do that!"

You ask and are granted permission from your CP to continue flight instructing on the side, "pays the bills."

Flight instructors don't want your job.

You thought *fifteen* MELs was bad, 'til another crew shows you *twenty-one* (yah Mesa!). They aren't passenger comfort items either.

You have a ready supply of resumes in your flight kit for the jumpseaters.

Once the door has closed, you're off the ground, and handed to center for a few precious moments in cruise, you'd rather not be anywhere else.

when age 65 is now the new ret. age. Get comfortable. I wonder how much is guys needing to recoup lost pensions or just old crustys that don't want to give up the wheel.

Being the last one off the plane on the last day of your trip so you can fill your overnight bag with cokes and bottled water to take home.

Wow, if I was of the age...I would stick around just to piss you off.

You know you are a regional FO when.......

You don't know how to talk on the radio correctly

Can't read the checklists properly

Even after being told multiple times how to do something, you still can't seem to get it right

Touchdown 2500ft. from the threshold 15 knots fast, and then say "aww yeah that was a good one" because it was a smooth touchdown.

You complain about crew scheduling to try and fit in even though you haven't been online long enough for them to screw you.
