So I am reading the Bar and Grill and some dude says his buddy was offered a class date at UPS but may turn it down because he "would HAVE to plumb on the 727 and would rather get the 757 in MIA or ONT". Awwww, poor baby. People just never cease to amaze me. What an idiot. Who gives a crap if you "have" to plumb on the 727? He may actually learn something. It just ticks me off that there are 12,000 resumes on file, friends of mine can't get a call for an interview yet this yahoo gets hired and is actually thinking about putting class off because of this. What a bafoon. He doesn't deserve the job IMO.

Ok, done venting....

Training center stories

Uh, ok....you don't have any idea what you are talking about. You must have the wrong person.

It doesn't matter when I got hired. January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August or September. I have had no problems in training.

Besides, this thread is about a bafoon who apparently thinks he is too good to plumb on the 72. You should really worry about him being your FE one day after he gets displaced cuz he is junior and killing you. That's who you need to worry about, not lil old me.

Let it go, -38 boy. She's completely right about this guy. I hope he passes on the job.

Anyways, enough fun and excitement for me. I have to go to bed.

She's one of the best posters on here usually. Why is it your place to "take her down?"

Viper's good. Yes.

If you don't want this guy working there, black ball 'em.

Um, that's not my style but thanks for the suggestion. Contrary to popular belief, I am not that big of a you know what. I don't know the guy from Adam. I just think you are a fool for putting off a class because of what position and/or airplane you will be on. It could cost you a lot of cash, seniority, quality of life, etc. It's not like you have to stay on the panel forever.

That was your first mistake!! This guy who is thinking about turning down the job...must not need the job. Sounds like we are better off without him. Kind of surprised his sponsor didn't see this one coming....surely this guy knew being an FE was likely in his future. Without getting on the Bar and Grill to confirm, only explanation I can think of is PD offered him a choice of class dates, one with 727s and one with 757s. Same thing happened to me. Luckily the 757 was the earlier class so it was an easy call.
