PHX and LAS have shrunk. Westies are now flying 24% orig. EAST routes. These routes were not flown prior to the merger. These are routes like PHL and CLT to SAN, SEA, SFO, LAX etc

East only flying 4% of former orig. West routes. So, lots of jobs have gone to West pilots, while the EAST shrunk to its min fleet. The so called jobs Westies brought to the merger were worthless and Westies are gaining flying at the expense of orig. East jobs. 24%! Straight from DP.Westies stealing East jobs and loving it. The greed is outrageous.

McDooooosh,

Had AWA not bought USAir, American or Delta would have been flying 100% of the East routes. Wake up you idiot. Even if AWA didn't actually "buy" USAir, it had the credit to get a mortgage to purchase it. Get that through your small knoggin.

Bye Bye--General Lee

Now General, you know that MCDU had a bid in for the USAir Space Shuttle to Venus line, if it hadn't been for the (ahem) merger, he would probably be a captain on it by now.

It was not long ago, Delta was in BK with over a thousand on the street.

Bye Bye--General Lee

AWA had 18 mio. left. They had no credit. You are dumber then dirt GL and it shows with your knowledge of the facts as in what shape AWA was in.

Trying to justify a guy who had been at AWA for 8 weeks and then placing him ahead of former East Capt with 17 years just won't work for the real USAIR pilots.

GL paid for his training and has different views on seniority. Your greed shows.

And we all know which line he actually got, right? The one to Uranus. (had to do it, sorry)

Okay, what????? Say again? You are on dope. AWA bought you with their better credit. Get used to it.

MCDU,
I think the rub lies in East pilots accepting binding arbitration. It may not be fair, but both parties signed on the dotted line. Nobody had a gun to their head. Yes the results were not ideal, but binding is binding.

The retribution hasn't even begun yet. Just wait for the Damages trial...if your Fake S??? union survives long enough.

Well said now can we end this thread and have Usair pilots get to work on a new contract that helps increase the bar for the rest of the industry. Either that or just shut the doors because what is going on now is not helping anybody!
