Less of a chance than you stand of catching something incurable from a hooker at one of your "nice" hotels, bag boy!

-Flight Tracker works! I would love to see a 777 extra section full of bags, I still think you are completely full of poop!

I'm still not sure which is more gross, your stalking of him on this website, or your constant mention of hosexual behavior and Doug Steenland?
Either way, I bet while you're work at mcdonalds, the kids working the grill have to make sure and never turn their backs on you!

Hey Lumbergh,

Better tell your fellow Song pilots to hide their paychecks. When times get tough, Delta's top mgt top priority is your wages (that and starting airlines within airlines).

Delta posting losses of hundreds of millions (and sometimes multiple billion) losses ever quarter...now that's a broken record.

CRJ567, you talk about GL and I being a broken record, look in the mirror.

That would be broken records, Einstein..... Unless, you come out and admit that you have multiple screen names.

-Writing is hard, eh?

Wow, you be smart. Maybe someday you will leave the fry machine and move over to the cash register..........idiot.

Bye Bye--General Lee

put these d-bags on your ignore list and stop responding to them. They just want attention and you're giving it to them. The ignore function is great, try it!!

Flight tracker? Well, I guess I could research it back to last XMAS, where we had to give out greenslips to 777 pilots to get them to fly to Lagos for the extra bags. And I guess you didn't know that our Lagos flights are among our most profitable? We are replacing the current 767-300ER and throwing a 777 on that route daily, and adding a flight to the Nigerian capital of Abuja. Nigeria is an oil rich country, and a lot of those people want to spend their oil money elsewhere, and then of course come back to their compounds. But hey, I guess you know otherwise!!!! And I have flown "only bag" flights before---I flew a one day trip from Atlanta to Managua, San Pedro Sula, and back to ATL just carrying bags on a 76ER two years ago just before Xmas. If you need my W2 to prove it, just ask again..... Go back to the Fry machine, it is beeping again.

Bye Bye--General Lee

My understanding is the swap to the 777 is by agreement between DAL and the govt. of Lagos. They had request it initally to allow the service and DAL weasled out some how....they are required to put 777 service on that route or lose it.
Once again, just my understanding from the people on the 4th floor.

God, I hope that's not true. I'd hate to think Delta is letting guys with names like Olbutunde Bumbujunju decide their fleet assignments, but that's just me.

Hi!

Many places in Africa are doing relatively well. I was flying in DTW, and am now flying in NBO. I wonder why?

I was just talking to a guy from Kinashasa DRC(Dem Rep Congo). He said a normal house/apartment rental in town is $5000 USD/month, and a good place is $7500 USD/month. He said a lot of places are like that in Africa. There is LOTS of money in Africa, it's just spread out very evenly.

I think DAL will do well in Nairobi.

Record. Not records. You accuse us of saying the same thing over and over. If that is the case we are playing the same record! There was a point in its singularity.

This is not that big of a deal. DAL did it with Jamaica a few years ago. DAL told the Jamaican government that the routes only would support a CRJ, and their government wanted a 88 or better. Well to get the approval we gave Kingston a 88. When we told the Jamaican government that we were going to pull service if we had to keep an 88 on the route, they allowed a CRJ.
I am sure if the loads do not support a 777, they will pull it once they have gotten a taste for direct service to the US.

Ummmm-

Would you like a mulligan?

You see "record" would tend to imply that you and General Lee are indeed the same person. Two broken "records" would imply a duality of Kool-Aid-Chugging-(two individual chuggers, if you will.) Subtle, yet significant difference, sir.

-That is, unless you are just another one of the many screen names the Genital uses.

So, you think that DAL should be able to tell a foreign government what to do?

Kenya is very proud of their country, and eager to show that they don't tolerate foreign meddling.

If you want to do business in Kenya, then you will do what they say, otherwise, they will find another company that will follow their rules.

They have total control of their airport, and everything that goes on there, and they can approve anything they want.

So, if you want to fly here, you work with the CAA. If you don't, you won't fly here, and some other airline will make the money.

Virgin, BA, KLM, AF, Emirates, and many cargo companies, fly huge aircraft in here, and make tons of money. Luckily, DAL is smart, and they will work with the CAA so they can make a lot of money here, too.

No, I think fleet choices should be up to the airline, not to said "foreign government". I thought I was pretty clear.

+1, especially when they say a 767-300ER, or -400, is not modern enough for them. The statement by the government official indicated a lack of knowledge and the arrogance that is typical if officials who are not accountable for basic competency within the subject field they regulate.

I'd have sent a 767 with winglets, truthfully told them it is the newest and most efficient jet in its' category. It looks more modern and this seemed to have been about appearances.

NBO Dude - how much you figure this was just a shakedown for cash?

you can have africa...the chaotic airspace, the stench, and the bedbugs!! good luck and hope your senior.

The airspace is very opposite of chaotic - hardly any traffic, most of which is DAL :)

The stench and bedbugs I haven't seen yet in 2 years of flying there, I'll just take your word for it.

Senior - not senior, it depends. Some like 3 day 25 hour trips some would rather go somewhere else.

Delta is making a lot of money in Africa. Hopefully the brand new markets will do even better.

Never mind incompetent, most of them are illiterate, not to mention still eat each other.
