If he's not, he won't care because he got what he wanted.

The funny thing in all this is that in the last 10 years, I can't think of one thing that ALPA has had go in their favor when dealing with the govt., courts, or management. It's a heck of a time for the union to become effective.:smash:

Man that's a sad statement. And couldn't be any more correct.

Prater needs to go now. He should also be brought up on charges for failure- to-fairly-represent the will of the majority. I've had it with ALPA!

Wow! You could had a V8! What an epiphany!

Welcome to America and the free market society.

It has always been like this. No cares about Air Line Pilots. Pilots think ALPA is the professions worst enemy.

You mean the will of the majority of the miniority!!

What have you done for the profession except expect to be served by ALPA?

I have had Prater in my jumpseat more than once. I like the guy but his days will be numbered and I would speculate that ALPA is in trouble.

Perhaps they might be. But he'll still manage to be a 777 CAPT at CAL for an additional 5 years. I'd say he's a happy camper and saying," mission accomplished, CHA CHING."

Never really felt good about that man. In hindsight, I now know why.

I guess. I would be willing bet that in the next five years there will be another (after USAirways) major defection from ALPA.
