Hay T-Bone ..If you work out of sacramento how far can you live from base? Im am currently just north of san fran....thanks

It's my understanding that all future new hires are required to live within an hour of the MCC base. Marin County may be a little too far...

As for the ILG base closing, no one has lost their job as a result. Some quit, and some are still based there. There just isn't going to be any hiring into that base for some time. There are plans to hire over 20 pilots between now and the end of the year, so don't look at this as a sign that pilots are getting laid off over here. The company just wants them all in the same place. We will continue to use ILG as our east coast base for hangar space and the xojet mechanic that lives out there.

Be careful. The facts are: within the last 12 months the D.O. quit, the V.P. of flight ops quit, at least 6 pilots have quit, and at least 6 mechanics have quit. The great schedule is 9 days on and 7 days off. The last pilots who quit were not paid their last paycheck. Not a great place.
