I used to make SAV-GUC a few times a year in a e-90. I flew into gunnison valley. It is a good size valley and you climb over the vor to depart if needed. Never had a problem and you cant beat the sking in crested butte or the people in the town.

Just use your smarts when you go into any of those mountain airports. Don't get yourself into a situation you can't get out of. If you feel uncomfortable with it, go to Denver.

Flying in Colorado is a great time just be prepared.

can only imagine the conversation after they landed.

hayden is a good choice. great skiing in steamboat, the airport does a good job with snow removal. but hanger space is little to none.
