...and one more thing Tabexpress F/O... If you really are paying for this time at Tab the only place you are getting hired is Colgan. You will not be hired at any of the "better" regionals because most are looking for time as an instructor and all are looking for time as a pilot. When you are in the airplane, the captain (who is experienced) is flying the airplane even when you are "holding" the controls.

Dont worry though, write another check and you will be on with Colgan.

Honestly, why would an airline choose a 3000 hr CFI who has only flown Cessna's over someone who has around 500 hrs and has flown turbine powered aircraft as PIC and has extensive training in airline procedures and systems?

Total time without experience and knowledge is meaningless.

you sound as if you have been brain washed by TAB... TAB "only one Calorie" or braincell

Is this how they charge you PFT by strapping you down in a chair in a white room and play "you will get something for nothing" over and over again...

TAB sounds good but to those who know this business it is nothing but BS

Tab,
You do not fly a turboprop as PIC.
You have 300-400 hours.
PIC means Pilot-in-Command, you may be rated in the aircraft, but you are not the one calling the shots.
No offense, but with so little time, only an idiot would put you in charge.
You should pay your dues like the rest of us. Until then nobody will respect you.

We'll see how BS it is when i look down on you from my BE-1900 at you beating up the traffic pattern in your Cessna 152. Tab has been everything that they said they were going to be, i get to fly a cool turboprop as PIC and get great instruction and insight from experienced major airline captains plus i'll have the opportunity to move on to one of our airline partners.

Talk about cognitive dissonance. This guy sounds like a glossy ad in Flying Magazine.
Good luck, I Hope it works out for ya...

My friends I give you the reason why our industry is where its at.

"I get to fly a cool turbo prop"......................And you pay dearly for the opportunity. Until we as Pilots STAND UP and stop allowing people to treat us this way we will loose and loose and loose.

"insight from experienced major airline captains" Now I'm not sure who your flying with, however If I were a training captain at TAB Express, I would think I'd made some serious carree errors.

BTW, who, and what is TAB Express? Where do they fly ect?

Tab, you idiot, when a "low time" military pilot is flying "PIC" he is the one "In charge". When you are sitting in the left seat of your stupid little king air, someone else is calling the shots, any major airline knows this when they are looking at your resume.
The only reason you sit on the left is because you paid a lot of money you stooge.
When I sit in the left seat of a jet, it's because of my experience.

I am not the slightest bit jealous of you, you basically cheated and cut in line.

Grow up and get some integrity.

Left seat PIC? You obviously are not flying under part 135 or 121. Airline interview folks will see that for what it is.

tab will figure all this out when he interviews with an airline. theyll pour over his logbooks like crazy and quiz him on his "PIC" be-90 time. regardless if you "can" log it, the people hiring know that it is not quality time and most will disregard it completely. these guys interviewing know what to look for. at least the airlines ive interviewed with are very very thorough.

I posted this on another thread, but that TAB thing is a piece of crap. I had to teach one of their ex-students his commercial single so he could get his CFI and start paying on a loan. That was even before everything went south.

You may be a recently kicked off member playing this game, that would be fine.

But if you acutally are paying for all this time. Remember one thing, this is a VERY small industry and some of the people you are currently insulting may one day be interviewing you.... Don't hide behind your screen name, its not that hard to figure out who people are...

Maybe you don't know everything, ya' know?

Which high density airports are those? MCO and MIA? Hah!! Those don't hold a candle to IAH, ORD, JFK, BOS, PHL, etc.. And you may be highly trained for a 500 HOUR PILOT!!, but I'll take real experience any day over that.
