Whats the current callout time for reserves? Is it true that there will be a 12hr callout if the TA passes?

Yes, that is true. 12 hour (long call reserve) in the new TA. 10% of reserves will be LCR in the beginning and it may increase. Also, LC reserves will be the first to be called. That's good for commuters, you know you have a trip and have 12 hrs to show.

LCR reserves may be assigned short call reserve (SCR) if necesary. That's the same 2 hrs we now have.

Is there a long call reserve now or just the short call 2 hr. Also I'm guessing the long call would go more senior. Is that correct?

We only have a 2 hour call out now.

Unknown how the LCR will play out as we've never had it before.

they call it 'airport standby' there. it can be assigned to a reserve pilot, just like any other flight assignment. it's not built into lines, or anything. sit for 5 hours, get paid 3.75. a flight assigned to you within the 5 hour window must be scheduled to depart within that five hour period. i.e., 12-5 standby, they can't assign you a flight that is scheduled to depart at 501 pm.
