I think this thread was erased so I will post it again.

I received a phone call to submit my resume and I did. That was about 2 weeks ago. I did not hear back. I was flying when they called. What happens if they call again when I am flying? If you submit a resume and you are not competitive do they let you know?

You get no phone call if your not competitive. Also, it was about 3 months to process resumes back in the spring, so I assume (never should though) that it's still about that long. They were hiring guys with 400 hrs in the spring so with 1000+ you should get a phone call eventually.

This is all speculation and opinion!

I think the hiring department has slowed down for the holidays. I've also heard that interviews right now are limited to furloughed 121 pilots, who are getting hired through an expedited process.

Wait till January before sweating it.

You were probably eliminated from consideration for not being at their beckon call...........:) Relax, I'm just joking, I highly doubt the fact that you were not there to take a call matters at all. Perhaps you should have provided an alternate contact # on your resume such as a cell phone. Either way I'm sure your in the running or they would not even have called to request a resume. Congrats on getting "the call"

Beachbummer,
400hrs??? are you serious??? I guess times really have changed. I can remember getting invited to interview, passing the written test and panel interview portion and then one of the HR folks asked to see me and said that 1400TT and 400ME was a "little slim" so I should come back in 3 months for the sim eval. This was in 1997 at a commuter that was only operating turboprops. Then again maybe I wore the wrong colored tie or suit.:).........Anyway best of luck to all and have a nice Christmas.

Most people getting hired now are over 1000 and 200 multi with current 135/121 job. Good luck

Follow up if you want to go there. They played phone tag with me when I was flying and that seemed to turn them off and they never called back after we made contact and did the phone screening thing. They hired a guy out of my outfit with whom I would not fly (he went there because there was no sim ride ... he busted two other interviews in sim rides) and that turned me off from them.

I went online and followed the application process. I was called three hours later. I played telephone tag with HR for three days. Set up and interview a week later went interviewed and got hired on the spot. I know I'll be junior for a while, but at least I have a job with insurance, which anyone can tell me about, would be appreciated as well as flight benefits, which my wife really cares about.

I did the online app. in sept. They called me the week before thankgiving for the updated resume. I faxed it to them the same day, got a call 2 days later, interviewed on the 12th of dec.

The people in the interview I talked to were about split 50/50 of 121 or 135 / 91.

There were a lot of soon to be furloughed folks from messaba. I think that just about all of them got picked up. They filled classes into feb when I left and there was still afternoon guys waiting to interview.
