I'm sorry, but I just laughed so hard, my nuts fell off!

Tab,

You are the poster child for what is wrong with aviation. You are willing to shell out big $$$ to log what you think is "airline quality" PIC time. Every airline in the world will recognize you PIC time for what it is, dual received.

A commercial pilot by definition is a pilot who flys for compensation or hire. Which part of that do you fufill? You have not been hired nor are you compensated for what you are doing. With a CFI in the right seat he is the final authority for that aircraft, and thus ultimately responsible for it's safe operation.

Accept your time for what it is, dual received. Just because the FAA says it is legal does not mean that an airline has to accept it.
If you try to pass that off as "airline quality" PIC time you will not make very far in any interview process.

Hey y'all,

Is it just me, or did TAB just disappear?

Tab I tried to send you a reply to your pm but you have your settings turned off. Here's the point I was trying to make...

First off I never said you wouldn't make it thru the training. It's just that the check airmen are pretty good judges of the difference between cockiness and confidence. We've had plenty of captains from other companies bust out of training due to their attitudes. With experience ranging from the '27 to corporate jets. So if you were to walk into Memphis with an attitude of invincibility (unless you're a FedEx pilot of course. Everyone knows they're indestructible)then the check airmen will look to make an example out of you. Either by tanking your oral, your PC or even your I.O.E. So just be humble my friend. That's all I'm saying. As Jim Rome would say...I AM OUT!

That's my 10 cents my 2 cents is free.
Nuisance who sent?
YOU SENT FOR ME??!!

Rook
600' AGL Autopilot on.

It seems that he (or someone else) deleted all his posts. His current profile shows 0 posts to his name. I guess he decided to open those FAR's and take a look at the rules himself.
