I heard it's for a few weeks in march because Mesa can't staff their flying. I don't know how many planes, but it will be out if IAD

Nothing to see here. 3 airplanes for 3 weeks only. I'm sure somebody will correct me but this is only temporary.

Heard XJT was going to start some flying for United. Any info?

If it's true, it'll be the first regional airline in history that's more comfortable to ride on than its mainline partner...

I hate riding on "Ted."

Actually the Mesaba Avros had that title beat by almost a decade!

Here are the facts:
  • Duration of 12MAR to 29MAR
  • Three airplanes, in ExpressJet livery
  • Service between IAD and PIT, CHS, HSV, and JAX
The scuttlebutt is as viper548 mentioned, that this is to cover for Mesa's crew shortage.

I heard Horizon and Eagle are putting in bids to fly for United too. Then United can claim that every freaking regional on the planet flies for them.

Had they just took the 0.00001% pay difference I'm certain their passengers would have been much happier with Air Wisconsin instead of the patchwork quilt of delays United has sewn.
