while I feel bad that those stations closed, I would rather see management make smart decisions to close unprofitable stations and routes and re-deploy the aircraft where we can make money vs. continuing to operate on these routes and make ******************** for money.

Are they turning out over to CHQ??? I can't imagine CAL would pull out of OKC, OMA, and TUL completely.

Yup, after ExpressJet Holding, Inc's 2008 Annual Meeting, the stock has been in a steady decline. Currently they can be called the NYSE biggest losers(percentage) at noon club. -36.27% dropping value to $1.74 and still holding as the biggest losers as of 1:34pm ET. OUCH!!!!!!

Good luck XJET.

Any idea how many pilots this will effect? I hope your management can figure out how to pull this off without furloughs, but I can't imagine a reduction of 30% of branded flying can be absorbed elsewhere. I hope I'm wrong.

I think we are finally seeing the beginning of the giant ******************** sandwhich we are all going to eat at some point.

Delta announced a reduction, AMR & Eagle have and now XJET. Just a matter of time before we all feel this pinch.
