Saw a few outside the hanger at MSP with the engines ripped.......And i Ferried one from DTW to CWA the other day and there was another there with no engines

I think we should return them in the same condition that we received them in. The only problem would be finding pilots willing to risk life and limb to fly them back to MEM. They were junk when we got them and the will be junk going back. It's just too bad we don't have anything else coming to replace them.

As much as I like the B+s more, I'd rather fly 369PX from the left seat than 457XJ from the right. I bet there are plenty out there who'd prefer to fly 366PX from the right than a 172 from the right as well. What's worse: Stiff controls and two deferred Supp A/Cs or "Waddya mean ya forgot yer foggles?!?!"

Didn't you guys have a Saab that went to the paint shop and they found out the wing was about to fall off due to all the corrosion ??

Any XJ guys out there know if we have returned the B model Saabs back to Pinnacle yet? The B.S news launch letter said Jan 4th.

The B's will be back once the leases are negotiated......I heard that 9E receives something in the range of $300,000 a month from XJ for those SAABs.....If I'm right, and I usually am, the Great B-'s will be back once all the B.S. is over with. Just my opinion though. Peace out.

I doubt that. We only pay Northwest $190,000/month for the CRJs, and Northwest only pays $90,000 to Wells Fargo for them. The Saabs have got to be a little less than that.

The B- leases may not be $300K but PCL is leasing them to XJ for MORE than the average market lease rate for a saab. PCL wouldn't renegotiate terms, so the leases are being rejected. The leases have little time left anyhow, so I doubt they'll be back.

How the hell do you know? Do you write the checks each month?

This question can be answered by looking at PCLs earnings statement (itemized) look at how much PCL recieves from Mesaba for the airplanes, divide by 11 and get the individual lease price.
