Not that I am complaining, but shouldn't there be some sort of
realignment notice one of these days. We are getting pretty close to the June bid period. Any theories?

I was really expecting one to come out today (Friday). Maybe they're waiting until next Friday because it's a bit closer to the negotiation deadline?? The doom and gloom will have more impact then...?

The officer update thing from last week did say they were working on one, so it'll be here sooner or later.

I was thinking the same thing as normally Fridays are the venue for really bad news... I was expecting this one to be no different...

^ Yeah, I think you're right. The MEM Avro guys are gonna have to go somewhere on June 9th.

Did you guys see the new Mesaba article in the StarTribune today? It's about employees fleeing the company.

Yikes. 100 aircraft to only 49 Saabs??? Where is all this flying going? Compass? Best of luck to all the XJ folks...

Nobody knows what is going on with NWA, they say they are planing on giving up major market share. NWA will also not release its new fleet plan until the labor deals are reached. If you ask me, NWA will look exactly like what it does right now, expect the employees are going to be making a lot less.

It's a shame that things have had to get to this point. It's even worse that I suspect our SLT is probably toasting to this at this moment. This just means a lower relative seniority at the company, which was one of thier complaints in court, that we were "much too senior" and that's part of why they wanted such large cuts. That way we would fall in line with the Mesa's and Chautauqua's as far as average seniority in the company. In today's corporate mentality liking a company and wanting to spend a career there is a very bad thing. Not wanting to work and quitting within a few years to move to another company to do everything all over again is highly desirable.

why do they need a deadline after may 3rd? mmm could it be they could not legally negotiate anything until they know from NWa how many planes they are getting? Why would any company keep around two CRJ's ? that is definately not profitable, let alone one CRJ??????????? why has the greedy bastards that make up MAIR holdings not bailed on their stock if its going to be worthless in a few short days if NWA will abandon any future growth? 5 dollars a share is better than 0! If they bail, then the ship is sinking, if they do not bail, then its a ship that is sailing to the NWA wind........NWA both blows and sucks....if you are wondering how they fill our sails!
