Obviously you weren't here in the Bedford/Heller days.
Good ol' "Keep-em-in-the-plane-wayne". Seemed to think that by turning off the automatic warnings in crew-trac we wouldn't notice going over 30 in 7 etc and we would fly more. Many did........then started keeping better records after. That's why many are so anal about getting times every leg. Once again proving it's the crews responsibility to make sure we are not in violation of FAR. Worst cast the company gets a fine. A little bigger problem for the crew.
