Just heard Spandex talked to the chief pilots asking why all the Pilots are quitting?

Can you say "OUT OF TOUCH!"

I wish it was a joke.

This clearly demonstrates how incompetent this SLT is. The only thing they have accomplished is to motivate this entire pilot group to shut this place down for good. It is the only thing left at XJ to actually look forward too.

Not sure who or exactly when. All heard second hand but from someone I believe and in the know.

I am just glad our hard working management team got their well deserved $2 million in bonus money.

Maybe they will buy my house that I am now forced to sell.

May they all get intimate with a pig farmer named BUBBA!!!

I heard he called DTW chief...like a while ago....when the water fall started...and asked that same thing...i was just wondering if he called again....like a dumass

Everyone needs Pilot Shirts... http://garffshirts.com/pilotshirts.html

Wow, you mean I could have been an XJ FO for six years, then a captain at the last minute, then furloughed or canned?

Dude, what a rush that would have been...at least the log ride at Six Flags will get you a nice cooling splash at the bottom of the ride.

While you're at it, thank em for the 6 weeks room and board in Germany and the free uniforms for me. It was a hoot.

That post is not meant as disrespect to those of you that work there, but thank goodness I got out pre-9/11.

What a freaky business this is. When I got hired there, they were looking for 500 warm bodies for a new contract with some other major carrier. By the time I got half way through class, they were looking to use a hatchet on some heads. This was one year prior to 9/11.

Good luck XJ people!

You are an idiot. Thanks for the words of wisdom.

HA....No offense taken, but I still don't know why you needed to apologize.

On a side note, I have been reading your posts for awhile and I never new you worked here at XJ.

Where are you now?

Looks like leaving there for other things over seven years ago was about the best choice I could have made.

Good luck, XJ'ers! Give 'em hell!

Professionally perhaps. But you missed working with a fine group of boys and girls. My hat is off to you all! I hope that when our turn comes (And it is coming) we face it with the same determination that you folks are facing it

Agreed. The full year I spent there was great, in terms of the folks I worked directly with. I still keep in touch with a few people from my newhire class, too.
