Xiamen Airlines B737 Captain 2012 New Contract Released!

Xiamen Airlines will implement New Salary Package from 2012 January 1st:

• 1st Year Salary: $184,091 - $190,727...
• Base Salary: $1,000+ upgrade from 2nd year
• Travel Allowance: $3,000 - $6,000
• Living Allowance: ￥5,000 - ￥7,000
• Loyalty Bonus: $30,000 after 6 years service

Funny how they put the living allowance in Yen??? One thing that I don't like about the Chinese offers is that it is very vague, what are the conditions upon which you will get 184K vs. 190K? Or 3K vs. 6K on travel allowance?

Actually it would be best if all pay was in yuan but having the housing allowance in rmb at least protects you against a big drop in the dollar vs. rmb exchange rate. The difference in the numbers are the increase for the new contract ie travel allowance increases from 3K to 6K and housing increases from 5000 rmb to 7000 rmb.
