Heard some X Indy pilots are going to sue to get on the Compass seniority list since NWA bought their old operating cetificate. It's only fair that the forme Indy pilots should fly for their old certificate. Just another example of a mainline pilot group bullying it's way over a regional pilot group.

How can they expect that? The company was shut down and the certificate was sold. Midway pilots thought the same in 2002.

That's coming from RJDC. Different name, same troll. Ignore him, he will go away.

Blatant flame-bait.

How do you figure that?

If they're keeping alot of the same management, most of those guys probably don't wanna have anything to do with Compass anyway.

Yep. RJDC is The Guat, Rhoid, Guppy Killer, TheGuppyKiller, Freight Nazi, TheMissingLink, 410Dude, OUT, IHaveAPension, and multiple other previously banned user names.

""Flyi will not be on the backs of the employees""

not gonna happen with the pilots or FAs. It looks like they will get some Indy personnel for-->

While I don't think that any of us former IDE pilots have a shot in court (and I haven't heard about any moves to make such an effort), this is NOT the same situation as the Midway pilot.

Midway was LIQUIDATED in Chapter 7 proceedings. FLYi is still officially in Chapter 11 proceedings. There is some questionable ground to be covered if only because so many senior level IDE figures are joining this new company.

Personally, I could give a rip about a job at "Comp-ass." However, if I felt that it would help the cause of either the NWA pilots who are being whipsawed, or any other regional out there, I'd file as part of a class action suit just to slow things up and throw a wrench into the system. I think that a lot of other former IDE folks would too.

I don't know about others but I got my termination notice shortly after operations ceased even though I was furloughed back in May. Lets face it, its over. I hope that there isn't any Indy pilots still trying to hang on. Time to move on Guys!!!!

The only thing that we are trying to sue for is all of our unused sick time that we never got paid for. I am owed about 50 hours at 35.40. Of course I'll get pennies on the dollar but it's worth a shot.

You are nuts and any of my former co-workers that think they have a shot at this are nuts as well. My time at ACA/IDE was the most fun I've ever had at a job but jeez, move on already.

I'm sorry, I just have no self-esteem. I sent my resume to Fly-I, but I heard the Riddle interns filed it in a special place called the "toolbox". So, to make myself feel better, I come on here and act like a loser.

You must feel great about yourself after a online session at FlightInfo.

The problem is, I used to take a shower every once in a while, but I didn't smell any cleaner afterwards. So now I don't bother.

Was yours the one that was printed out on blue stationary with clouds in the background and a picture of a dog jumping through the hoop in the corner? That one didn't go into the toolbox... It was posted on the wall outside of the Training Department...
