Chamber group opposes repeal of Wright law

The North Texas Gay Lesbian Bisexual and Transgender Chamber of Commerce has weighed in on long-haul flights at Dallas Love Field: They oppose repeal of the Wright amendment.

The group said efforts should be focused on developing expanded service at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. And it also expressed concerns about air traffic congestion at Love Field.

The gay-lesbian chamber joins other minority groups that support keeping the Wright amendment.

Who cares what a bunch of butt pirates and muff munchers think about the Wright Amendment? Don't they have anything better to do than to jump on an anti-free market economy bandwagon with their liberal socialist agenda?

I'm not very familiar with the lay out of the Dallas area, but from reading other articles on this development it sounds like there is a large gay/lesbian neighborhood right near Love Field. Makes sense that they would not want the increased air and car traffic nearby...

lol... there's not! But I'm not. That story hit the papers at the end of Oct, so their position has been published all over the place.
