I think UAL and CAL have a better chance at a Merger, and "talks" have been rumored for the last few months....

I wouldn't mind a merger with my Delta brothers though...

I think DAL/UAL could kick some serious butt. There are many ifs involved for that to ever happen. Debt? Business plan? Seniority integration etc. Interesting past four years and I expect a crazy four to come.
