There has to be some guys out there with a little inside info on the contract extension. What say you please.

Glad to see that the pilot group held their ground and went on strike. Hopefully you got some much needed improvements.

Congrats to the World pilots for holding their ground !

Hopefully, your MD-11 in Africa is still intact !

They found some SCABS to fly it from Angola to IAH and BYH.

Maybe. Do you think the pilots that flew the aircraft knew there was a crew stuck in a hotel? I surely don't know.

No maybe about it. The aircraft flew LAD-IAH-BYH last Sat/Sun. while all World pilots scheduled for commercial flying were LOCKED OUT.

If someone calls me up and says "hey-we got this nice MD11 down in Angola we need up here in Houston. By the way, it's an ex-Delta bird owned by UPS and they're getting kind of upset cause we can't get it out of there. Can you go get it?" I would probably ask a couple of questions.

The TEAMSTERS got the crew out of there about 5 days earlier.

"A SCAB is a person who's doing what you'd be doing if you weren't on strike."
