World Airways pilots reject contract proposal

NEW YORK, Nov 14 (Reuters) - Pilots at World Airways have rejected a final contract proposal by the charter passenger and cargo airline, the subsidiary of World Air Holdings Inc. (WLDAE.O: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Monday.
World Airways said it had asked the National Mediation Board to release it from mediation but would continue to work under the NMB's auspices until it and the pilots are released from those talks.
