Please don't refer to me as Dude, I'm not a commuter pilot with an Ipod and a backpack, I fly a large widebody aircraft all over the world. If you want to engage in a discussion I'll be glad to respond, but don't call me me dude.

So are you above commuter pilots? Are you above some of the commuter pilots whose MEC's have asked their pilot groups to make sure they help the World airways pilot's with jumpseats? I have some news for you, there is no difference between what a world pilot does ,or a delta pilot, or a pilot for colgan except for the cities they fly too! So I ask again, what are the pilot's of NAA not doing? You say no support, how is there no support? Please back this up with something. I agree the two groups need to work together, do the MEC's talk to each other? What would you like the NAA pilot group to do? No sarcasm just an honest question.

Why would you measure your self worth with the kind of airplane you fly? That's absurd, dude.

Really? When did Colgan start crossing the north Atlantic with 350 passengers LOL.

Any way correct me if I am wrong but It is my understanding that 1 NAA pilot showed up at 1 of 5 informational pickets.

The sentiment at NAA seems to be no integration or merger, as long as you guys are paid less than a World pilot, we will allways be worried about losing flying and eventually jobs.

Back to the picket line.

I crossed the pacific 4 times in the last 10 days...what makes you think it's so special?

flying a little commuter plane with no autopilot and APU while flying out of places like Durango is much more challenging than sitting on your arse and making radio calls all night.

get off your high horse. you ain't as special as you think

Easy guys there's no room for this sort of bickering. Im not sure exactly what sort of support you are looking for. We cant strike, and we are not picking up your flights, so you see we are pretty limited as to what we can do. Actually what is the biggest issue for you guys at World with the latest offers?

Dud:

You need to chill. We did not want to be bought by World either. Now that we are pawns in YOUR chess match you need to treat us with the same respect that you are asking from us. You guys have our support but keep pressing your luck and that support may fade.

Amen to that!!! And I cross the Atlantic/Pacific/etc.... 3-4 times a week! I would much rather sit back and plot my position while eating a first class meal than fly my a$$ off in blowing snow and freezing rain 4-8 legs a day with 20 minute turns. I have done both for more than 11,000 hours. I'll take the easy atlantic crossing ANY DAY!

Divide and Conquer. Polar-Atlas style.

Ty got it dead on. Basically, the company is calculating how low they can go to get a 50% + 1 vote victory. The MEC and NC would never send out such a lowball offer for a vote, because they know they can do much better. If the company can send it straight to the membership, they can bypass that problem.quote]

You'd vote for it wouldn't ya PFT?
