I just wanted to thank the crew over at US Airways for everything they did for me and my friends on the flight from PHL to MUC. The pilots John, David and David were so friendly and helpful making sure there was room and that we were well taken care of. In the back, Greg and Heidi were awesome! Once we hit the ground, they gave us a ride on their bus downtown and gave us pointers on what to do (and not to do) in town. They even offered to take us out to eat at the BrauHaus, although we had prior plans.
On the way back, I rode with the same crew, and one of the David's made sure that all the NRSA's (incidentally, all spouses of crewmembers except me and my gang) were well cared for, and escorted us through the process.
What a wonderful experience! We had the best time and felt more important than I've ever felt on a trip. Thanks to this fantastic crew, I had one of the best New Year's I've had in my life!
I realize that the likelihood of any of them being on this and reading this are slim, but I'd like to thank them if they do see this. My other point is that I know that there are more folks like this out there, and I want you to know that you make a world of difference to us lowly commuter turbo-prop people. It makes "paying the dues" a little more tolerable and helps remind us how to treat those at the bottom of the totem pole. Thank you for the breath of fresh air. I can't wait to be just like you.
