1. Can you get the 146 in training?
2. Are the 146 bases denver and ord or just denver?
3. How long on reserve as a 146 F.O.?
4. How long to upgrade on the 146?
5. How long as reserve capt or until hard line on the 146?
6. How much longer will UAL ex / wisky use the 146? 5, 8, 10 years? Are they talking about replacing them with CRJ's? (hope not)
7. How are the trips in the 146? I would guess you use them for most of the mountain destinations and high alt airports.

Anyone here fly one? Whats it like? What version? Is it glass or standard six pack?

Thanks, just curious, I don't know much about them. Only used to see Mesaba's at ABE in the winter and Air Canada's on the east coast, never got the chance to get close.

Also Whisky/Mesaba 146 pay scales if possible.

seats?

the air wiss web site shows pax seating at 86, 88, and 100.
I would assume this depends on the 100 or 200 version (air wiss guys chime in here)

other specs on the air wiss site:

Crew.................................................4

Passenger Seating...............86, 88, & 100

Speed (mph)....................................460

Cruising Altitude...........................31,000

2 by 3 seating and 2 lavs (one foward and one aft)

Thanks Rot, just one more thing, if you don't get the 146 in training how long until you can bid it?

once again thanks

As far as I know, you can bid it right away. If you do, you'll then have a seat lock as you bid from F.O. to F.O.

Anaconda, the Bach is a neat bird that pays well for a second year regional F.O. Folks enjoy the flying and the opportunity (perhaps only opportunity) to fly a 4 engine jet.

Is that AD for the BACJet still in effect limiting altitude to FL260 due to an uncommanded engine rollback?

I don't believe you can bid FO to FO in another aircraft until you have been with the company for 2 years, unless you are displaced from another position, then you can bid what you can hold.

I think we will have 16 146's and 2 spares. I also heard that the leases were recently redone at much more atttractive terms and are less per plane than our CRJ's.

I think they have pretty much staffed the 146 for the time being and unless existing 146 fo's move to CA positions, there will not be many openings in the plane.
